Boy, I hope we're in a spot where we can actually be in the running for this kid. He looks special. Sucks that half the Pac 12 seems to have offers to him already.

The ole Christmas Eve commitment

Why would Wazzu be a more desirable place to play than CU? They got their pants pulled down on national television during their bowl game and they play in a little farming community in Washington. Boulder is a vastly superior city, CU's a much better academic school and the football program will turn around. I just don't understand these kids, man.

The fact that they were actually in a bowl may have had something to do with it.

Player to keep an eye as the recruiting process plays out. Will likely take several visits.

Doesn't look good at all for Wazzu to keep him. He's setting visits and the 247s guys are saying it's between UCLA and UDub.

I don't know if it makes a huge difference, but CU coaches have a relationship with Mountain View HS. One of our freshmen walk-on QBs, Will Fischer-Colbrie, came here from that school. Coaches built good relationship with that whole De Anza League up there in CA.

I would love to get him and redshirt him, then watch him go wild on the DL for four years.

That said, could we even keep him from playing in game one next year? I think he would be in the rotation quickly if that is what he wants.

FWIW(not much), I live in mountain view, and coach Mac told me his son used to play against them, so he indeed knows those folks.
