15-8 (I believe) Buffs at the media timeout. G. Simpson with 2 aces in a row.

Note- they showed the bench, and looks like Gwen Herring not in uniform today. Hopefully nothing serious.

20-17 CU. TO OSU (Had been tied).

Video actually pretty good today (A LOT better than Stanford's).

K. English looks to be coming in to serve for A. Austin with G. Herring out. Edit- Actually, think she's serving in place of A. Pfefferle rather than A. Austin.

10 all. OSU was up by as much as 4.

THEN, Buffs give up 3 in a row. 13-10 OSU. TO CU

Buffs get win in set 4 25-18 and match 3 sets to 1.

On match point, T. Simpson gets the kill and sets CU record for most kills in a season. BIG congrats to her!

Generally an off day for Taylor, we got to see our future and it looked bright. Gabby was insane with her serving and Alexis brought the ka-boom at the net (while not being a liability on defense).

And congrats to Taylor for finishing the match point of her final home match with style.

Congrats to our seniors!

Just an update from the rest of the Pac 12. Both the teams one game ahead of the Buffs (Oregon and Arizona), as well as the team tied with them (UCLA), going into this week's action have all lost. Therefore, the Buffs are now tied for 3rd with Oregon and Arizona in the standings at 11-8. This means, of course, a win against Utah will mean a tie for 3rd is the worst the Buffs can end up. If they lose to Utah, the worst they can end up now is in a tie for 5th.

A tie for 3rd in this tough a conference would be an incredible result for this team. Hope they go get the Utes Friday!

Also, since I mentioned in another thread that USC might miss the NCAA tournament for the 1st time in ~24 years unless they got a win on the road against 1 of 2 ranked teams, did want to update folks that they DID come through with a big win against Arizona tonight, so are guaranteed at least a .500 record (a requirement for tournament selection) for the year. Because of some good wins they have (including 2 against the Buffs), it's expected the Trojans will receive an invitation to the NCAA tournament even at .500, probably making it ten Pac 12 teams that will make the tournament. (The only 2 that definitely won't be invited will be Cal and WSU).

Hoping for a win against the Ute and a possible top 16 finish which would mean possibly hosting an ncaa tourney game or two! That would be amazing!
