Overall, I think this was a terrific season as far as the tailgates are concerned. We had perfect weather for every game. I would have preferred some later start times, but there isn't anything we can do about that.

Any ideas to make it better next year?

Sacky -- Another awesome year of tailgates. Thanks again for everything you do to make it happen. As far as improvements go, I think we need to figure out how to get a second parking pass in that lot because all of the suggestions I would have require a fair amount of car space (custom beer pong table, custom cornhole game, t.v. with sat hookup etc.). Until then, keep on truckin, brothah!

order the same weather again -- that was a great idea
find some way to keep fans of other teams out of the tailgate
setup widescreen TV showing other games
keep Orr away from the tailgate
more is more -- suggest you do one more tailgate in 2015 than you did this year
a Buff themed corn-hole setup (recommend placing TV and corn-hole setup on opposite sides of largest vehicle). maybe have a tourney each week with tickets to the next home game as prize
more babes, less old guys

I kind of like other fans at the tailgate as long as they aren't assholes

I've tried for two years in a row to pick up an extra pass. I agree that would be great if we could pull it off. I just don't know how without spending a lot of money.

The tailgates are great. Probably the best part of gameday. The location is great and so are the people who show up. If you have the ability to change the 11 am kickoff that would be great. Other than that Sackygate goes far above and beyond. Thanks for all the work you put into it for all of us it's a great place to be.

I'll continue to check into what we can do to get that extra parking spot. Part of the expense is the Buff Club membership. I think the minimum donation to qualify for a spot in that lot is $500. For the last two years, I've tried to get them to sell me another pass without ponying up the extra donation. If allbuffs has the funds, and can afford it, perhaps being a member of the Buff Club wouldn't be a bad investment.

As usual, Sackygate is the highlight of every game, win or lose. Nobody does it better. Anyway, I agree that a 60" flat panel with a portable direct TV dish would be the bomb, along with a fully stocked bar as well as a few lazy boy recliners and a large portable BBQ grill. When Rick George e-mailed how to improve the game day experience survey, I requested all of the above but have yet to get a response.

Thanks again Sacky!!!

Would you pay to have CU set up a tailgate for you?

Pre-Packaged tailgating is what the big boys are doing.

This puts in perspective the value of Sackman's hard work.

Great Point Skiddy!

LETS COMPARE PACKAGE C for $2800.00

Their premium reserved spot is within a 10 minute walk of their stadium.

Sackygate Location: Premium spot, 500.00 - 600.00 with a 3-5 minute walk to Folsom. Edge: Sackygate

Drop off zone for supplies so you don’t have to transport them to the tailgate yourself.

Sackygate: No one here is that frickin lazy! & we all need the exercise anyway. Sacky & his Dad bring & set up the lions share of the previous weeks liquor, beer, pop spoils. Not to mention the tables, grill, kettle, entree, utensils, tent, etc.
Edge: Sackygate

20 x 20 high peak tent.

Sackygate: The 10 x 10 CU tent with the AllBuffs banner is more than adequate. Chairs included. Edge: Sackygate

Two tent fans.

Sackygate: If it’s so hot & humid there that tent fans are required, then why don’t they include water mister’s and more fans? Boulder weather at all the home games this year was good to excellent.
Edge: Sackygate

2 each, 42" TV’s with sports viewing packages.

Sackygate: OK, they got us here. But while at Sackygate, look no further than one of the other neighbor tailgates who have 42" TV’s.
Edge: Them

4 each, 120 qt. Coolers with 40 lbs. of ice in each cooler.

Sackygate: Coolers @ Sackygate have ice and BEER/POP not just ice. Edge: Sackygate

Two cocktail tables w/ linens.

Sackygate: Really? Who the f-c- needs, or even cares what type of tables & linens are used at a tailgate? The tables used at Sackygate have character & work just fine. Edge: Sackygate

4 each - 6ft. Tables with linens & 15 chairs.

Sackygate: This takes up way too much room. I’d rather have bicycle racks. Edge: Even

Paper plates, paper towels, cups, utensils, & koozies.

Sackygate: Pretty common items at any tailgate. Edge: Even

Do the math. Their loser tailgate, $2800.00 per-game

Sackygate: PRICELESS

I have Buff table cloths. Nobody eats at the tables though. I do have one of those portable table/chair combos. Nobody ever uses it so I stopped bringing it.
