Committed to BYU way back in January of 2013. He's opened things up and announced that he was exploring back in July in a Scout article.

Had some excellent camp performances this summer. Would be a great one for the Buffs to snag.

With the early commit to BYU wonder if he is LDS.

With M2 here we have already seen that both LDS kids and Polynesian kids feel very comfortable with him and the program.

I'd love to see us become a preferred destination for these kids who want to respect their backgrounds but don't want the intensity found in Utah.

I can't agree more. We were very surprised at what we actually found at Colorado, especially given the party reputation. Coach Mac is very attractive to any athlete or parent who wants a supportive, motivating environment that emphasizes progressive excellence and personal responsibility; hopefully that will include a measure of LDS kids and parents. The quality of education in Boulder doesn't hurt the attractiveness either. Having been to Jr days at BYU and having known several 'star' athletes at BYU, Mac2 deserves a very close look by quality recruits who are LDS and want a P5/PAC 12 football experience with a broad education in an open and diverse environment. Didn't want to get too off topic on a recruiting thread. Go Buffs!

Rivals also showing USC offer for this kid. Get the impression we have a shot at him although we haven´t had much talk about him on AB. 19th ranked at his position and 5th ranked in Hawaii. We certainly have him surrounded with family. Surprised he is only a 3 star on Rivals.

Refer to my post in Gabe Sewell's thread, but Gabe is announcing later today and could impact Boogie, Mika and Tuli. Getting all 4 to commit would be a huge win in the Pac 12

It may be delayed if they do missions but along with Tuli and Boogie DL could start becoming a strength for us instead of a weakness.

These are all quality kids who should be multi-year starters for us.

I would guess they all do missions, or none. They want to go to school together, not just the same school for different years. And if they do all go on missions, that changes how full our class really is.
