My woman is so lucky, she actually picked UAB and didn't know where it was lol. Oh and **** u Bailer, Iowa St, etc. U ****ers ruined me.

Haha.

UAB was such a sentimental pick, too. After what happened with their football team getting the axe, advancing in the Dance is a really big deal.

I haven't played a bracket for the last two years after at least 25 consecutive years of doing so. I find that I enjoy the tourney a lot more ... don't have any conflicts in rooting for underdogs, don't have to keep track of more than one bracket (or any, for that matter), and while the thrill of competition was always heady for the first two (real) days of the tourney, no matter how well I did in the (real) first round (I think I went something like 26-6 one year) I was generally out of the running by the second weekend anyway.

You have a serious need for a gambling itch - not a habit - just an itch. It usually coincides with declining athletic capabilities on the field.

She's got every damn game right so far, her excuse was u told me there would be upsets. I'm yeah, but I meant the whole damn tourney.

Nothing is more annoying about March than "that guy" who cheers for Duke or Kansas or Baylor or other said highly obnoxious team solely because of their bracket.

Exactly. I'm absolutely free to cheer against the teams I absolutely hate ... and they are SEVERAL.

Exactly. Everyone's bracket get ****ed if they lose so you might as well cheer for the under dogs.

I wasn't really rooting for anyone, we just have a little bet going. Umm I'm losing and she knows **** about basketball, go figure.

The bracket my daughter filled out is 13-3 as of last night. Apparently her emotional reaction to a team's logo and school colors is more important than RPI, strength of schedule, conference affiliation, roster analysis, and actually watching teams play games.

Her final 4 = Kansas, Arizona, Gonzaga and Villanova.

I actually like when people who don't watch basketball are successful with their brackets. I keep telling people to fill out a bracket because basketball knowledge doesn't help. It will get them interested in the outcome of the games.

One thing we always do is a $10 daily buy in. Person with the most correct picks that day gets $10. At the end of the first round, you get to re-select your teams for the Sat/Sun games and we bet all over again. I definitely did not win day 1 this year.

This is the **** I'm talking about. I'm like why are u picking them? She's like, I like their uniforms. Then they come out and start hitting 3s and ****.
