Dear Buffs Fans,
rooftop-sidebar-2.jpg

We are pleased to announce that we will have passes available for our new Champions Center Rooftop Terrace in an exclusive Season Ticket Holder Presale next Tuesday, July 7 at 8:30 a.m.
In order to access this exclusive presale, you will need to login to your account at www.cubuffs.com/tickets. We will send you a reminder email on July 7.
The Rooftop Terrace is the top floor of the newly-constructed Champions Center, located at the northeast corner of Folsom Field. The Rooftop Terrace will be a great place for fans to gather and socialize before and during Buffs football games with the best views of the Flatirons that Boulder has to offer. This exclusive area will give fans access to concessions and beer and wine.
The Rooftop Terrace will open two hours before kickoff and remain open until the end of the game.A limited number of season passes to the Rooftop Terrace will be available for $60, or $10 a game. Single game passes are available for $15 per game. Quantities of single game passes are also limited and fans are encouraged to purchase early! Fans must have a game ticket AND a Rooftop Terrace pass in order to access the facility.
We look forward to opening this exciting new space this fall! Go Buffs!

$10 per game is an exceptional bargain.
Rick George and the AD are doing a fantastic job at pricing things like this and the bricks to move, create excitement, and generate funds while we still suck. Imagine what revenue this can generate if we're just decent.

I'm just thinking that, at that price, the demand will far exceed the supply. Either that or they will over sell and have to turn people away which will piss people off.

Note to the TheJunta, @absinthe, @buffnik, @dio and any other members of the junta - I think it would be a good idea for us to buy a few passes for allbuffs members. At $60 for an entire season, we could buy two or three and give them away every week, or sell them. I'd gladly forego whatever tailgate gizmo has been OK'd if we do this.

Good thing sacky is the thinker of the group. IPA's and vodka rot your brain kiddos.

An AllBuffs rooftop gathering would be cool! We would dominate.

I need a couple this year. Probably earlier in the year, to take my FIL. He had season tickets since 67 but let them go the final year of Hawk. Now dealing with a wife with Alzheimers and degrading health himself, he asked me to take him to a game this year (with my wife staying with her Mom while we are gone). I need to check my rotating schedule to see which weeks could work, but if someone with season tickets buy a couple season passes up there I would love to buy two off of you for one game.

I am planning on buying a set of season passes and can't make all the games I will post here which ones I will have available to sell.

Just bought my 4 passes. Also, checked with the ticket office and there is no age restriction to be up there, they are going to card at the bar.

So, I bought 2 each for the Arizona game and the USC game. It would have been helpful to know the kickoff times for all the games since it opens up 2 hours before kickoff. SC is a 7:00 Friday game, so getting there at 5:00 should be easy. I'm not sure I'd want 'em for a, say, 11:00 kickoff. I picked the Arizona game since they are my wife's alma mater.

Got passes to the Nichols St game and the USC game. I figure the USC game might be freezing cold and we'll want to be inside for that.

My on-line account with CU is all jacked up so I had to call the ticket office directly. They told me the season passes sold out in a half hour. Single game passes remain available but cost an extra $5 each.

Only 1,000 passes per game are sold. My advice is that if you are interested in going up there, get on your horse. The passes are going quick.

Forgot about the sale (also never got a reminder email) and bought each game individually. I can't wait.

That was my thinking on the SC game as well. Mid November night game = COLD. I'm not sure what the rooftop terrace provides as far as weather protection though.

Not sure about wind exposure, but there are supposed to be multiple fire pits up there.

It seems season ticket holder allotments are all sold out. General public allotment will go on sale tomorrow morning. This went much faster than I anticipated, and will be a nice added revenue stream for the AD.

Roughly $13,000 in revenue from ticket sales per game. I would guess roughly x2 in profits from alcohol & food during the game (guessing $30 a head average spend with a 40% margin). Not huge dollars but every little bit will help.

I am not seeing how to buy them. I made an account and looked but just see the game tickets, not anything about up above.

Edit: ok, they go on sale tomorrow morning.

How many are they allowing up there per game? I hope they keep it manageable so that it isn't assholes and elbows. Also, once you are in, I assume you will be able to get stamped and come and go during the game?
