Breakout player: Patrick Carr
Most disappointing player: C. Powell
Bold prediction: 2 PAC victories

Time to admit I was wrong. Clearly Nembot is not going to be the best offensive player. In fact he looks to have regressed to his 2013 self. Five wins is still possible as I thought a loss to Hawaii would happen, I just didn't think the team would look SO bad (From coaching right on down it was mostly negative after week 1). Looking more like between 1-12 and 3-10 now. That being said, my McCartney pick is looking solid as is my most disappointing pick.

Most disappointing player: Nembot, but he'll still be a high draft pick.
Bold prediction: We won't go undefeated in the first four games, but will win 2 conference games.

Season record: 5-8
Best chance for an upset: Stanford
Best offensive player (or player most likely to be all-conference): Shay Fields
Best defensive player (or player most likely to be all-conference): Tedric Thompson
Breakout player: Patrick Carr
Most disappointing player: Sean Irwin
Bold prediction: We get three guys drafted in the first three rounds of the 2016 draft (Spruce, Crawley, Nembot)

The first day of the draft is just the first round now. Hard to believe both of them go first round. Maybe under the old format where the first day was rounds 1-3.
Nembot will be a first day selection after scouts see him in person. Freaky athletic, improvement every year, and no character concerns. People are gonna love what they see at the combine or pro day and he'll shoot up boards.

Season record: 7-6
Best chance for an upset: Arizona
Best offensive player (or player most likely to be all-conference): Spruce
Best defensive player (or player most likely to be all-conference): Thompson
Breakout player: Eddy Lopez
Most disappointing player: Kinney

Best offensive player (or player most likely to be all-conference): Spruce & Nembot will be All-Conference but Sefo will be considered our "best offensive player"
Best defensive player (or player most likely to be all-conference): Thompson and Crawley
Breakout player: Awini
Most disappointing player: Adkins
Bold prediction: Our offense will be top 40 in SCORING at 33 pts/game.

Season record: 6-7
Best chance for an upset: USC - November cold strikes
Best offensive player (or player most likely to be all-conference): None
Best defensive player (or player most likely to be all-conference): Tedric
Breakout player: Falo
Most disappointing player: Crawley
Bold prediction: Bell stays injury free

The first day of the draft is just the first round now. Hard to believe both of them go first round. Maybe under the old format where the first day was rounds 1-3.

If Nembot has a good year, it's easy to see him going in the 1st round with the physical tools he possesses. Even if Spruce has a solid year again, I think he's a stretch for the 1st round solely because I don't think he has the top end speed that scouts want in a 1st round WR. Maybe he shows out at the Combine and opens some eyes, though. Either way, that's why it's a bold prediction.

7-6 w/ 2 road conference Ws & steal a home
Best offensive player: Spruce & Nembot both earn 1st Team
Best defensive player: Tedric Thompson
Breakout: Bobo
Disappointing: Any RB not named Carr
Bold: Buffs win bowl game and we land a fringe 5-star recruit.

Season record 6-7
Best chance for upset: Stanford
Best offensive player: Nembot
Best defensive player: Crawley
Breakout player: Jimmie Gilbert
Disappointing player: Gillam
Bold predictions: we lose 1 OOC game, but beat Stanford at home. Nembot goes in the top 10 of next year's draft. Lindgren gets a G5 head coaching gig after the season.

The first day of the draft is just the first round now. Hard to believe both of them go first round. Maybe under the old format where the first day was rounds 1-3.
Nembot is Nate S., and scouts will see that. Spruce is going to prove himself, and carry too much of our offense with style and grace! It will happen!
