not unprecedented at CU. Ronnie Woolfork came in as a big QB in 89, but was an OLB by spring of 90.

Greatest title for a CU Buffs linked article that I have seen. I wasn't sure what to make of it.

But as I kept reading the article I got more excited. Awini went from a little above average in size, but mobile, to a rock hard missile.

Good guy. But college is an understandably difficult age for many of us.

That's true. I suspect it's especially true for scholarship athletes. I'll tell you straight out that he's one of the friendliest people I've come across. He's in my Rotary Club and he always shows up for any project we're working on with a smile on his face and ready to chip in to help.

Is he still at NHS? They have a new head coach this season.
Yes. He interviewed for the HC job, but didn't get it. I think he's working with the defense, but I could be mistaken. He's not terribly optimistic about their chances this year. I guess they were pretty much horrible last year.

Longmont athletics is a strange thing. Half the kids who actually play at LHS live outside the LHS district. If all the kids who lived in the Skyline district actually played for Skyline, they'd be unstoppable. But most of them trek halfway across town to LHS. It's a weird dynamic. But I digress… Sorry for the thread jack.
