Syracuse - Georgetown not on the list? Ridiculous. And how do you have OU - OSU over KU - KSU?

10-6 are all questionable, imo. Even if I'm trying not to repeat teams by bringing in rivalries like Duke - Maryland or Kentucky - Florida or Georgetown - Villanova, there are still a lot of crazy ones like Illinois - Missouri, Utah - BYU and Michigan - Michigan State that got left out.

UCLA and anybody is a joke! UCLA couldn't even fill Pauley Pavilion for a revenge re-match of the Bruins versus Calipari's #1-ranked, Kentucky Hired Guns; a team which absolutely smoked UCLA last year at this time (Remember UK up 41-7 at halftime???). It was even a "Gold-Out" night with free t-shirts on every seat! Bet there were 2,000 empty seats in Pauley for that one--- EM-BEAR-ASSING!.

If a team can't fill its own nest for a game with the #1 team, with a revenge factor involved, they have no "rivalry" worth noting!!!

Kansas Missouri, Louisville Kentucky, Syracuse Georgetown, Duke Maryland, NC NC State, Indiana Purdue. God I love college basketball.

Rhode Island-Providence? Does this guy live in Rhode Island?

The weirdest thing about it is that Providence-Boston College was a great rivalry game in the old Big East and is the biggest rivalry in New England.

How 'bout UConn / 'Cuse from the battle bruise division?

Even tho there were lean years, what about the putrid hatred between the Yoots and BYU?

And did this nimrod just ignore Kansas / Mizzery?

Not as good as football, but Army-Navy is still fun if we're talking small.

And on the "smaller" spectrum - any one of the Philly 5 playing in the Palestra.

Yeah. The Philly 5 is awesome. If you look at some of the people who have done "best rivalry in college hoops" lists, they'll put Villanova-La Salle on there rather than Villanova-St. Joe's like SN did. Really great city tournament.

One that I think deserves some run from the west is Gonzaga-St. Mary's. That's a great small conference rivalry.

Iowa-#4 Iowa State came down to a last second shot by Iowa State last night, after they came back from 20 down. Full house, but Hilton Magic prevailed.

Ft Lewis? I still haven't heckled their head football coach yet. I should but I can watch high school here.

Duke-Carolina gets the Yankees-Sox treatment, but rightfully so. So many good rivalries got torn apart when the Big East split off Cuse and UConn. Hard to confuse Arizona and UCLA being the historically top two schools in the Pac as an actual rivalry.
