Brian Lindgren is always looking for quarterbacks who can make the Colorado football team better. While the Buffaloes' co-offensive coordinator is eyeing players for the future, there's enough uncertainty about 2016 to make him uneasy.

I don't hold out much hope for 2016. QB sitch is not good and there are not enough substantive changes on either side of the ball to give me any reason to think next season will be much different.

An upgrade at QB with a playmaker can mean 1-3 more W's, IMO, even if everything else stays the same. I expect the DL to be better. I expect the DB's to be about the same. LB will be a cluster, but it is hard to imagine it can be worse. The OL may be slightly improved if Irwin can manage an entire season. WR will probably take a step back without Spruce, RB's about the same. If you get a huge leap in play from QB, there are some more W's to be had form this team. IMO, the possibility for that to happen are, in this order, Webb,or less likely Montez explodes. Absent that, 4-5 W's is the high water mark.
