Moody Transfering to UF

Moody: "Maybe I should have paid more attention to the depth chart before commiting".

Course we'd love to have him.

I was hoping CU might've had a chance due to Hawkins relationship with Carroll. He said he wants to be a "featured back."

Me too, it will sure be nice when a top transfer will consider us a top option.
Moody could have easily been a feature back in many backfields.

What do you mean could of?

He should have looked at Auburn. A few first day picks over the last 3-4 years at RB.

You never know. Everyone said the same thing about Marcus Houston.

Marcus wasn't too good at listening to anyone but his dad. He lacked heart. Too bad cause he appeared to have some potential talent.

The plot thickens.... I've been looking around and it's been rumored that Jameere Holland, who has been kicked off the USC squad, has been in contact (not directly) with UF coaches. It's been alleged that Jameere was trying to persuade 3 other SC players to come with him to UF. Because of this Pete Carrol will not let Holland transfer to Florida. This all came to light after Moody xsfered to UF.

From the scout board.
Moody left USC for Florida... all these other schools were just smoke screens. Jameere Holland will also be a Gator soon. The reason Holland was dismissed from USC is because he was having illegal contact with a coach from Florida, Starr and was attempting to persuade at least three other USC players to transfer to Florida including Moody. Some of the players blew the whistle on Holland and Carroll dismissed him from the team. There it is. Moody tried to play up Ok State and North Carolina so it wouldn't be obvious and Holland has tried to play up Oregon knowing Carroll wouldn't grant a release to another PAC 10 team and he would have to sit out 2 years. Florida was the only non-PAC 10 team on his transfer list and so it would seem like he had no choice but to go to Florida... even though that was the plan all along.

This is what happens when you get upwards of 8-10 5* recruits every year. They all think they're the next Heisman trophy winner, and when they don't start, they transfer. This kid will have just as much difficulty at Florida, which also gets a bunch of 5* recruits, as he did at USC.

There was a time when CU had such problems. Anybody remember Marcus Reliford? Dood was the 3rd string RB behind Bienemy and Flannigan and had some SERIOUS moves. But even in a wishbone offense, he had difficulty getting a lot of playing time, so he transferred.
