"I am going to go up there probably on an official [visit] or maybe even before that on an unofficial visit to go check them out," Robinson said of Colorado. "It is a Pac-12 school so I feel like it is perfect for me because I am considered an undersized linebacker, and that is where undersized linebackers go. I could bring my Florida speed out there and have success in the Pac-12.

"I really like Colorado because [cornerbacks] coach [Charles] Clark told me they have a couple upperclassmen linebackers and there is going to be an opportunity for me to come in and compete for a spot in the Pac-12."

I watched the film again and I like this kid. I hope he will take a serious look at the Buffs. He's got some wheels and has the presence of mind to jump. Batting down passes at the line is an underrated aspect of the game.

Don't know if you're the one to ask...but is there a template people use to post these recruits? And if so, can we add who the staff is that is leading the recruiting? Or is it such a team effort that would be kinda meaningless?

Not really a template, but there is a standard format that has kind of evolved. Last addition was the twitter link. In terms of who is recruiting, it's going to be based on geography (which coach's area) and then the position coach. That's the current way Chev is having them recruit. Usually there's also an assist by one or more of the GAs and/or non-coach football staffers. From there, sometimes other coaches might be involved if found at a camp or he visited CU or the coordinator or HC has gotten involved. I don't think I want to add that to the profile, though, because it's always going to be incomplete. We don't see a name unless there's a twitter follow or a mention of a coach by a player in an interview.

There is a sticky that describes the coaches and their recruiting areas.

Fair enough. Thanks for the detailed response.

Maybe I'm missing bigger prospects on our list of targets, but I'm seeing a trend of us recruiting smaller backers....kids that can run and play in space. You would think some of them might not fill out and could end up at SS.
