Impressed with KSU. I think it will be a interesting race for the north between NU, MU, CU, and KSU all the way to the end of November. It wont be easy for any of those 4 teams. Should be interesting and fun!

I'm as amazed as you. I picked KSU to take a fall. I know Auburn is no offensive giant but I expected more from them.

It could be very interesting in the North this year. The Black Skirts looked strong against Nevada, while Misery looked very beatable. It would be great if the Buffs could sneak in there and steal it away when no one "in the know" thinks they will be worth anything.

You really shouldn't. Auburn is not that good-headed for 4 or 5 losses. Oh well, it was a nice run the last three years.

KSUcks and NU did good

Mizzou pulled it out against a much improved Illinois

I didn't see the CU game but it seemed like a helluva one

As much as it pains me, I was impressed with Nebraska...The players on that team look like athletes that are on OU and Texas.. especially on the D-line..

KjSU has some talent too on both sides of the ball..

Missouri didn't really impress me much other than there offense.. You can move the ball on them..

what you saw from Mizzou yesterday is what you will see from them this year-

their defense sucks so they will have to outscore their opponents on a weekly basis-

Being a Husker fan I was shocked that our power running game did so well. Yes it was still Neveda but none the less our true freshman running back Castille was a beast. Lucky looked more patient out there waiting for the holes to open up instead of years past when he would just shoot through a hole without waiting for the blocks to develope. I was really happy with our true freshman Kicker. The kid booted 6 touch backs in the game. Our D does look much faster then last yer. Again it's only Neveda but that "Pistol Offense" is supposed to put points on the board though. I must say it's pretty creative though.

Oh by the way it's about time you ****ers won again! Seriously though, Cody looked really good out there!

anyone who tries to make a season out of yesterday's games is crazy. No one knows anything about how Auburn, Illinois, Nevada, or CSU will stack up the rest of the season.....

Lets see how the next 3 weeks pan out. We will know alot more then!

MU, CU, KSU, & NU could all be 2-2 at the time the league games start.

Mizzou should be 4-0 going into league play, their other 3 are at Ole Miss, W. Michigan and Illinois State. For CU and NU maybe they'll be 2-2, but I'm expecting NU to beat Wake.

I thought my Cats were going to get drilled @Auburn, but i'm STILL ****ING PISSED about how we gave that game away.

They had their chances.
Give us your take on why they gave it away??

The obvious one, 16 penalties. On the go-ahead TD drive there were 2 penalties that killed us, the "roughing the kicker" and the "facemask". Both were horse**** calls, but damn, the guys have to be smarter than when trying to secure a lead.

The other part of it was we were just gassed. Auburn has more depth, and better athletes than us and it showed.

Anyone think Kansas will be a little better then thought? Again, its only one game, and it was against some sort of directional Michigan school. But I saw a lot of people picking it to be a real tight game, or even a Kansas loss, and they came out and crushed them. Probably was not on TV, so I doubt that anyone got a good look at them. But, perhaps they are going to be a little better.
