Only his 3rd year playing basketball, so a lot of upside potential to his game.

If he's planning to go post-grad, this may be an '18 signing then right?

I'm confused. Thought our 17 class was full?

You guys are getting confused because of the early and late signing periods for basketball, I think.

The 2016 class was just signed and will be arriving on campus this fall.

2017 is Schwartz as the primary in-state target, among others. They will arrive on campus in September 2017.

I knew something didn't make sense. Thanks.

Would be classic to get that Tad Boyle bump in rankings. Has happened with so many other recruits.

What am I missing? The 2016 class arrives this fall, Sept 2017 and Schwartz, a 2017 recruit also arrives in Sept 2017? Is Schwartz part of the 2016 class?

Ondigo began his final year of prep basketball with a decent amount of suitors, but the attention wasn’t up to par. Now, the 6-foot-9 center has shown that he can score with efficiency from 15-feet and in while protecting his basket on the other end of the court. As he had stated, Memphis, Texas Tech and Colorado look to have put in the most time for him, but thanks to the recent offers from Pitt, Minnesota and DePaul, things could greatly change in the weeks ahead. https://basketballrecruiting.rivals...ne-of-last-quality-big-men-available-for-2017

Would add a much-needed big man to this class. We don't really have a post/ rim protector type in the group of forwards signed in the fall. Want.

So if the Buffs are actively recruiting both Ondigo and Jackson it means they are planning on at least two scholarships open up? It looks like there is going to be some attrition.

There often is. Ak? Strating? Hopefully not Peters.

Why should I get excited about Ondigo? Not that I shouldn't be, but he isn't particularly highly rated. So what do I need to know to get excited about him?

6'10" with good timing as a shot blocker, has quick ups and can finish with either hand. Kind of a Wesley Gordon with more post game.
