Get better soon Alan, I will miss hearing you say,"Fiiiiiiiirst and goooooooal at the fiiiiiiiiiive."

From the BDC...
Fans won't hear the familiar voice of longtime CU stadium announcer Alan Cass this week. Cass, who has been the announcer since 1981 and has seen 155 straight games, will miss this week's contest as he recovers from pneumonia.

Cass also has served as the Denver Broncos stadium announcer for years and had done 256 straight Denver games prior to this preseason. KOA radio's Alan Roach will fill in for Cass. Roach was the long-time Colorado Rockies stadium announcer until this season.

Hope he gets well soon but **** what a good replacement. I'm a huge Rockies fan and I miss hearing Roach at the Rockies games this year. He's definitely a good PA man.

I wonder if he'll say Hawkins like he used to say Walker?

That would be awesome!

"Touchdown pass by number 7, Cody Hawk...ins"

Hahaha, **** yes that would be awesome. Touchdown Huuuuuuugh Charles, stretching out the Hugh like he used to do with Danteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Bichette. Guess the Hawk...ins works better. Whatever and however he announces it, I want to hear alot of touchdown calls on our side of the ball.

Roach is a helluva replacement. He's done the PA for the last two Super Bowls and is the new tram voice at DIA:thumbsup:

"FIRST DOWN AND T...........EN!" in similar fashion to his famous "Larry WALK.....ER" :wink2:

get well cass.....

good luck roach!

He was also the PA announcer for the Athens Olympics. Yeah, I'd say we have a pretty good replacement.

Alan Cass in also Mr. IN-COM-PLETE at Bronco games. I'm sorry to hear he's ill, but I can honestly say I will not miss that lame-o-rific call at games.
