While looking around I noticed that according to ESPN we'd offered Estella. Sounds like she's a stretch 4 type game wo can still play down low. 1st team all state in 2016.

EDIT - #12 for the road team. Hard to read the numbers though.

It will be interesting to see how much of a chance the Buffs have with her as they are a bit late to the party (not their fault) and she appears to be really good. It could be a matter of the relationship the CU staff develop with her. Of course getting her to Boulder for a visit wouldn't hurt.

I kind of remember seeing Estella listed on her ESPN recruiting page as having interest in Colorado even before the coaching change. So hopefully the new staff had some traction to start with.

I knew her name sounded familiar and Mount Horeb isn't that far from me. We must have discussed her before as I am already following her on twitter.

Hopefully she's already been on campus and so she knows how wonderful the facilities are as well as the educational opportunities. If she has the chance to get to know the new staff I think she'll give the Buffs a serious look.

She looks to be a tremendous prospect and would have Kennedy, Alexis, etc., as juniors when she arrives on campus. That's a pleasant thought.

Just from past experience, whenever I hear of a exceptional athlete who is 6 ft or taller and Stanford, I won't hold my breath if CU has offered her a scholarship. I have been burned a couple of times by holding out hope on a recruit that seems like a good Colorado fit. If she has a high grade point average, I would call her a Stanford lock.

I can think of two who have chosen CU over Stanford, Michelle Hasheider and Sabrina Scott. Perhaps Moschkau will be the next.

Kids want to know they will get to play. IF she thinks she will ride the bench at Stanford, she may decide on CU, especially with a better coaching staff.

Oklahoma and Stanford I can see. However, the Wisconsin program isn't in any better shape than CU. Their advantage is she is from Wisconsin.

I'm not sure the new staff was actively recruiting her given a conversation a month ago or so with a coach. The comment was something to the effect that some of the recruiting site were reporting info that was old. I think Bebe may have made a comment about recruiting Wisconsin and it was made clear that they aren't recruiting anyone from there.

Hmmm. Looks like the Buffs didn't make it onto local kid Michaela Onyenwere's final list either. That's a bummer. If we can't get her, I hope she goes out of conference.
