TEMPE, Ariz. - Colorado's soccer team won its seventh consecutive match on Sunday, topping Arizona State 1-0 on the road. The Buffaloes are now 9-3 overall and 3-0 in the Pac-12, while ASU dropped to 5-4-2 and 0-2-1 in conference play.

The seven-match winning streak is the longest for CU since 2008. It's also the first 3-0 start in conference play since 2009 when CU was in the Big 12.

Congrats to the team again for the great start to the Pac 12 season with 3 road wins. A BIG accomplishment!

Note*** - I'm sure the standings will get more jangled as the season goes on, but thought it's an interesting factoid that, after 3 matches played, the top 6 teams in the Pac (including the Buffs) are undefeated (17-0-1), while (obviously) the bottom 6 teams don't have a win yet (0-17-1).
(***Thanks to derbarkasmann in the Buff's Bigsoccer.com thread ( http://forums.bigsoccer.com/threads/2016-colorado-buffaloes.2027074/page-19 ) for pointing this out). Full standings can be seen at https://pac-12.com/womens-soccer/standings )

Amazing what having just one player of Kornieck's caliber has done for this team.
