It´s good to see that everyone here is upbeat et all, but don´t put any unneccessary pressure on the team, the coaches and ourselves ... think from game to game and don´t start talking about taking the division, a possible Big 12 CCG etc. Go step by step und "feiert die Feste wie sie fallen" ... all that matters right now is beating Baylor in Waco on Saturday.

Might be a bit of self protection on my part, but success is just that much sweeter when it comes unexpected.

Yes. The drive back from WACO in 2003 really sucked. The goal posts came down after CU blew that one!! Last year's overtime loss in Boulder was just as bad.

Baylor leaves a terrible taste in my mouth, and the only cure is a solid victory next weekend.

The Bears have owned us in the last 2 meetings. Beat Baylor.

This has the makings of a classic TRAP game. This is no time to let up.

What you said ... yesterday´s victory won´t be worthless if we lay an egg next weekend, but it´d definitely devalue it somewhat. Be professional and approach next week´s game like we approached yesterday´s game and don´t overlook Baylor. Any given Saturday ... just like an unranked CU team can beat a #3 ranked OU squad that had MNC aspirations, a Baylor team can beat a CU squad coming off its best win in years.

After the game on Saturday, Cody was interviewed and he said that they still have a lot to work on. While it wouldn't surprise me to see a letdown, I think the 3OT loss last year is still in the back of the minds of a lot of the players and coaches. That was a game they all felt they should win.

Just my personal opinion here, but I think CU is gonna rip Baylor a whole new asshole.

over on rivals, they said the staff worked the team like dogs today... no light practice as a reward for the big win. some were apparently surprised. hawk is sending a message--- good teams don't lay off. they don't look back. they don't believe their own press clippings. they keep working. our Buffs haven't won on the road in quite some time. this game is big. i expect CU to come out and treat baylor like the doormats they are. CU will not overlook them. the Buffs are going to come out and crush them. our team is embarking on a mission. they are catching that vibe. these guys are tired of all the ****. they want to win. watch and see.
