Big 12 predictions week 6

First of all, week 6? Man, football season takes forever to get here and just like that we are halfway through the season!

Ok, time for my weekly Big 12 predictions, weigh in on what you think.

I think we really start to get a feel for the contenders in the confrence this weekend.

Colorado @ Baylor
Baylor owns a two game winning streak over the buffs, however this is a different buffs team than Baylor faced in their last two matchups. CU has one of the nations toughest defenses and an offense that is starting to run on all cylinders. CU is coming off a huge win over Oklahoma, and this could be a recipe for a letdown. Hawk however couldn't sleep after last years Baylor loss and this team will be ready. CU comes out strong and dominates for the 3rd week in a row (I know I said different in my CU prediction thread)
CU 38 Baylor 10

#10 Oklahoma vs. #19 Texas
Both teams coming off stunning losses to Big 12 north opponents in their confrenece openers, so this years RRS has lost some of the hype that it would have had. Texass has not impressed me muc, OU should be motivated from last weeks loss at CU and their two game losing streak against Texass. I look for OU to win big in this one. Texas gets bounced from the top 25 for the first time in many years.
OU 45 Texass 17

#25 Nebraska @ #17 Missouri
This is not a good matchup for Nebraska, Missouri has a potent offense, and Nebraska has a bad defense that has allowed mind boggling numbers against weak competetion. Missouri's defense is not all that and a bag of chips either, but it is better than NU's. This is a shootout for while and then Missouri blows the skers away in the 4th.
Missouri 49 Nebraska 35

Kansas @ #24 Kansas St
It is hard to tell how good KU is as they have played a weak OOC schedule. KSU is coming off a huge win in Austin and they also played Auburn tough on the road, so KSU has the edge with experience in big games. KSU also has the better QB and is at home, so I like the wildcats in this one.
KSU 28 KU 17

Oklahoma st @ Texas A&M
This should be an interesting game, I think Okie st is the better team, however the cowboys last road game, they got blown out by Troy. So it's hard to tell. I say Okie st in a close one.
OSU 21 A&M 20

Iowa St @ Texas Tech
All I have to say is I feel for ISU in this one, cause it's not gonna be pretty. Texas Tech wins in a blowout.
Texas Tech 55 Iowa St 20

Agree on everything except Okie Lite-Aggy game. I think Aggy wins a close game at home.

TTU/ISU: Leach will try to hang a hundred on the clowns.

And thats why I think hes a ****ing assclown. I cant wait (and hope) for the south powers to punk his smoke and mirror offense. :sad2:

Laid 75 on a D1AA team and they still couldnt rush for 100 yards. Pansies. ****ers. I hope they lose every single game from here out. I hope they play CSU and CSU wins. And I hate CSU.

Im a ISU Clown fan this weekend. I know its a longshot but hey.....

**** TECH AND LEACH. COWARDS. THROW A 50 YARD BOMB WHEN LEADING 68-7. KARMA IS A BITCH.

I bet you loved it when Leach had his team hung 70 on the ****ers. I know I did. :smile2:

I love the fact that we seem to play Tech well when we do get our shot at them. They always seem to struggle against our defense.

I agree with most of it except:

- Okie Lite vs. A&M: Memo to whomever wants to pay me $12 grand: Fran is done, and so is his team. Okie Lite will toy with the Aggies and score big.

- KU vs. KSU: KSU has yet to show they have an offense. Of course, if they can keep scoring in special teams, it might not matter, but the Fighting Manginos will kick away from KSU, taking away any scoring opportunities for the purple pussies. I think KU comes on top of this tard fight.

I agree except I think the Aggies will rally around Fran and they will beat Okie lite.

Ain't that the truth!

I agree with all your winners other than I think CU-Baylor and OU-UT will be a little closer games, and on the flip side I expect the Mizzou-corn game to be more than a 2 TD spread.

KU-KSU is intriguing. We really don't know anything about KU given their early schedule. Despite the lopsided wins I don't think they're that good.

1. CU beats Baylor

2. OU over Texas 31-16

3. KjSU over Kansas 23-17

4. A$M over Boone Pickens State 28-20

5. TTech over Iowa State 45-17

6. Have a weird feeling Nebraska might win this game but I'll go ahead and pick Missouri 31-30..

1. CU beats Baylor Go Buffs

2. OU over Texas Go Sooners

3. KU over KSU Go Hawks

4. Pokes over Ags Go Pokes (to many distractions in CS this past week)

5. Cyclones over Red Raiders

6. Mizzery over the pink teddy wearing corncobs

these are not my choices, but who I will be pulling for today to win. change #3 & #5 leave the others be and that is who I think will win today...

The second most interesting game in the B12 this week (next to CU/BU) is the Missou Corn game IMO. To me it seems like the corn have been living on borrowed time. They've had a bunch of close calls over the last two season and needed trick plays to pull out W's. Now their D is highly suspect, they are on the road (always a weakness for cally) and this game is critical considering how the rest of the B12 north is playing this year.

I get the feeling the corn's luck is going to run out in this game and their apple cart, which has been dangerously and almost impossibly teetering on the edge of one wheel but hanging on, will flip over this weekend. I look for a complete collapse of the corn today and the beginning of a 2 year slide to oblivion ending in Cally's dismissal.
