CU @ KSU prediction thread

I can't figure the mildcats out this year. I really thought they would have blown KU away, but that is a rivalry. Honestly, I think this is as tough game and I have seen this as a loss all year. It's prime time on national Tv and KSU will be hungry. CU needs to play better than they did against Baylor or KSU wins this. No mistakes and better defense.

I'm gonna go ahead and say

Buffs 35 Kitties 28 in OT

456 total O

Buffs: 31
KSU: 28

I think this is going to be at tough game. And the result may tell us where we are at.

:gobuffs:

CU - 27
KSU - 24

The Buffs are starting to win the games they are suppose to (Miami & Baylor). I really think this team is understanding what Hawk has told them about having a "winning attitude". If this game is close, I think CU will have a lot confidence and pull it out.

Did you see the meltdown on the gopowercat.com. They are saying they should bench freeman. funny ****. One mildcat said he misses bill snyder.

Newsflash: Freeman is not very good.

If you don't agree, then you had better tell our coaches. If he is supposed to be a "pro-type" QB then why is he NEVER allowed to throw a ball more than 20 yards down field (unless we are in desperation mode)???

We will be hard pressed to get many more wins playing like that....

Freeman just wanders around the sidelines....he doesn't talk to anybody on the offense....he doesn't act like he cares if he is even at the game.

Am I bailing on the guy?? Not really, but when you get to come and get handed the keys to the bus....you had better be able to drive it and he can't....or the coaches won't let him.

Please show me a successful college QB that doesn't show ANY emotion....I want to know who it is because I don't think you can do it.

KU destroyed our coaches....it wasn't even close to even.

Our offense is so poorly ran from a play calling stand point that I would like to have....dare I say it....Ron Hudson back...

Unless we make some serious adjustments....we will be lucky to win two more games (BU and ISU).

Gonna be a tough one. KSU did not look like the same team against KU as compared to the team that beat UT. Not sure if that was letdown, or rivalry, or KU being really good :wow:, or what, but CU will have their hands full.

No matter though, CU pulls it out and beats the kitties.

CU 35 (no more damn settling for FGs this time)
KSU 27

Total O - 397

The kittens just played 2 highly emotional, adreneline laden games so I would be surprised if they can summon the focus and energy necessary to win should the game be close in the 2nd half. Unless they jump out to a big lead early, I think KSU will suffer from the emotional drain of their last two games in equal proportion to the possibility the Buffs will win the game. Without momentum, I think they will be in trouble.

That said, should they get an early lead (10+ points) I think they have the horses to win the game in Manhatten. Prince put together a good game plan last year and we have trouble with QB's in the mold of Freeman.

Buffs in a close one 24-21

Low scoring defensive/field position battle. Late turn overs are the key and the Buffs leave the little apple with the W.

I think this game is going to be very tough. I've not watched KSU much but I have two observations about them. First, they cannot run the ball. Even in their big win against Texas they didn't get 100 yards rushing. The Buffs should be able to turn them into a very one dimensional team. Second, they are very opportunistic. In their wins they get a lot of take aways. This makes me nervous because despite all the good things he has done Cody is still throws too many picks.

Buffs - 20
KSU - 16

380 yards of offense

CU 34
Pussies 13

I feel strongly about this so I'm double posting!

Actually, I dont' know how to delete and I double posted because some dumbass interupted my original post:pissed3:

This game will be a win for the defense. I'm thinking CU 10, KSU 7 at the half. The D will finally get a punt return (or INT return) for a TD in the second half. Then play with a lead till the end with KSU getting a TD in trash time.

CU 27
KSU 17

Tot yards - 365 (190 rushing mostly in the second half).
