OU vs Mizzou

Outside of the beloved Buffs vs KSU, I am very much looking forward to this game. Mizzou was impressive against Nebraska but I really want to know if that was a case of Nebraska mailing it in or Mizzou being tough (especially on defense). First chance to see a common opponent.

Personally I think OU is still angry about the loss and dismantles Mizzou but I'm good at being wrong. :smile2:

I hope you're wrong this time..... I like this game, I know mizzou has the 2 tight ends, but I dont hear of their wideouts. understand their TB suffered a high ankle spain against knu, questionable for this weekend and chase daniel was their leading rusher last week.

I think this game will be great for Hawk to go back and review before the Mizzou game. I still think OU wins this one.

It's been a strange season. There's every reason to believe Mizzou can pull off the upset in Norman.

Funny how a number of OU fans believe the Sooners are still in the hunt for the NC.

Mizzou will come back to earth, is my guess. But it wouldn't break my heart to see Stoops on the wrong side of a rout.

Stoops' teams don't get routed too often. I can only think of a couple times in the last 8 years. USC & KSU.

As for this game, it could be a B12 conference championship preview. I was impressed by Mizzou's offensive diversity, but I had to keep telling myself it was against a dog **** defense. I will be very interested to see how they stack up against OU's speed. If I had to make a prediction, it would be OU by 4-7 points.

As crazy as it seems, they are most definitely still in the NC hunt. They lost early and teams above them keep losing.

What would be great is for Mizzou to be undefeated when they come to Boulder.

Did I miss something? Isn't Pinkle still coaching Mizzou. It's like death and taxes, Pinkle always ****s it up! It is only a matter of when. Past few seasons for Mizzery
2006 started 6-0 ended 8-5 conference 4-4
2005 started 5-2 ended 7-5 conference 4-4
2004 started 4-1 ended 5-6 conference 3-5
2003 started 5-1 ended 8-5 conference 4-4

Anybody else see a pattern?

playing in the Big XII is tough???

They beat the **** teams they play in their OOC. The only good team they played this year so far was Illinois and they hung on to win that after blowing a 24 point lead. Back to the topic, I see OU winning this game by 17.

Can't wait to see this one - will see aht Mizzou has agaisnt a known team; I have no idea who will win

in norman? that stadium is VERY loud - and that is when you are literally 3/4 mile AWAY from the place.

you all saw what 8,000 okies did in folsom. dang!

stoops does get burned now and again. that being said, i think he is at his annual limit after boise state and colorado.

pinkel on the other hand is more of a mack factor than mack is. while i can see his boys riding the emotion of hate week to last week, i just don't see them mustering the same whimsy to okie. last week was their get-up game.

anything can happen, but how do you see okie overlooking mizzou?

HEY ITS DIVISION ONE FOOTBALL.. ITS THE BIG 12... It ain't intramurals..

Pinkel will **** it up.. I think OU will work Missouri Sat.. Not sure the Missouri program is "ready" for a game like this.. Gameday, big crowd on the road.. Pinkel's teams have never responded before on the road against a good team.. I doubt that changes Sat.

It is better for the Buffs if Missouri comes to Boulder undefeated. So, from now until NOV 3, I hope MU doesn’t loss. On paper OU is a better team but MU has its best chance to win the Big 12 to date. It should be a good game.

Go tigers until CU kicks your butt!!!!!

Hey Ya'll
Gonna be The SOONERS by at least 10.5
Just another stepping stone on our way to the top.

Prediction: OU crushes Mizzou.

Mizzou's playing well, but OU will just slaughter them.

(lol) thusly, by the transitive property, OU would nuke Nebraska.
