Pac-12 Season News (2017)

That's a big damn deal for Oregon. I'm surprised that Freeman is going to risk it to improve his draft position after an injury plagued 2016.
Ha. His draft position is pretty low at the moment based on his 2016 season, as well as the absolute dog**** track record of RBs from that offense. He's one player that could stand to make a lot more money by coming back.

Guy is super talented and has tons of speed. Wonder if he didn't get a very good draft grade due to the various injuries? Either way, big news for them.

Maybe so. J Stewart & L Blount have been really good this year, though. Problem seems to be when you draft one of their 5'9" (in shoes) RBs who are more track star than football player. R Freeman fits the mold of their bigger backs that have been much more successful in the League.

Wazzu's performances in bowl games coupled with the way it has played to start seasons probably reveals something about Leach's system. So much depends upon timing being in sync and the offense being in rhythm. Takes some time for it to click and long layoffs are not its friend.

More turnover on the Utah staff, per footballcoachscoop.com

Utah: Assistant head coach/running backs coach Dennis Erickson is retiring and co-offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Aaron Roderick will not return, the Utes have announced.

Utah has a new offensive coordinator every single year.

The turnover of their staff seems like an indicator of problems with the program. But it doesn't always work out that way.
It would be good if we could pilfer a top recruiter from their staff.
