Definitely a player to keep an eye on. Maybe a PWO who would be in line to earn a scholarship once he won the LS duties since that's the way most programs manage the LS scholarship situation.

So is he coming here or not?

Don't know. Would love to have him. Injury to a Snapper can cause major problems if you don't have a backup plan. JT Bale's only a sophomore, but I don't know that we have anyone else so I think this is a need.

I wouldn't expect a final decision early on this. He can wait out the process and see if someone is willing to offer a scholarship. He could even commit to CU and change his mind anytime before the first day of class or first participation practice (whichever comes first) given he won't be signing anything as a PWO.

Only note to this (otherwise correct) is that he'd have to make the call a bit earlier if he is an invited walk-on to be among the 105 max allowed at fall camp before classes start.

How many long snappers get put on a ship, especially as a freshman? I can see it later on but not right away. Could be wrong though. Anyway hope Devin still comes.

I don't think that contradicts what I said. I stated he could commit, and later change his mind. If no scholarships are coming thru, he will likely pick a PWO opportunity and go with that. But if on July 27th, some team he's interested in has a scholarship free up and they are feeling desperate, he's not locked in.

Long Snappers never get noticed until they cost you a game.

Hope this guy has a solid career at CU with little notice and lots of wins.

Welcome. He makes us a better team.
