5-5 with an excellent chance at 7-5

The last two games are certainly not gimmies, but if before the season, you told me we'd be 5-5 at this point, with the last two games against two teams who are arguably the worst in the big 12 (both 1-5 in conference), I would have taken it in a heartbeat!

Hawk has a big job ahead of him this week. He needs to rebuild the confidence of his young team and get them to play hard against ISU. At home, ISU has played well. They gave OU all they could handle and beat KSU. CU better show up ready to play.

That said, I like our chances of finishing 2-0. Anyone have a problem with 7-5 and a bowl game? Not me.

We lose to ISU and win against nu. 6-6. Thats my prediction. Good enough for a bowl?

IF CU can go 7-5 and play in the Insight.com Bowl in Phoenix then I'd
be happy w/the season. That would mean wins against csu, OU & NU plus
a bowl game. Not bad after a 2-10 season.
CU must put tonight behind them.

Probably. CU got great pub with the win over OU. I think the Big 12 has 8 bowl tie ins, so how some of the other mid-level Big 12 teams do, will effect our bowl eligibility. I think we are an attractive bowl team for a low level bowl with one more win. I still think 2 wins is very possible.

I'm hoping for a berth in the Texas Bowl. But that's probably got something to do with where I live!:smile2:

I have no doubt that if CU wins 1 of the last two we go to a bowl game. It will probably be like December 15th have you, but it will be a bowl! :)

That being said I still feel great about our chance at finishing with 7 wins.

After all that this program has gone through over the past 5 years, I consider that a huge victory. We're getting recruits back in Boulder, we'll play with some of the heavies and we're taking some lumps. I would venture to say that most of you thought we had a chance against anybody on the schedule after we beat OU.

Things are getting better in the rocky mountain state. Just give it time. Enjoy the ride. What other team boasts the youth we are playing on either side of the ball? I doubt many at all. It will be fun to watch the "baby" buffs turn into the "full-grown men, i'm gonna f*** you up" buffs.

GO CU!
