A truly pathetic effort

Man, that game was frustrating. The D got continually burned. The O had no clue. We made missouri look like the best team in history. The thing that killed us the most was our offenses inablity to control posession. Exactly the opposite of what we did against tt. I do not think we even suited up the same players as we did last week. They were imposters.

Also, I hate to say, Cody Hawkins is NOT the man. He is a decent QB. But to get to the next level, we need way better. I'm a little nervous that no QB recruits may even consider CU for the next couple of years because they don't want to compete against "the coaches kid." Are we even in on any QB's this year?

I thought, for maybe one of the only times in Hawks tenure, we were totally outcoached. The offensive play calling was horrible. The defensive scheme was abysmal. Yuck.

i am going to let you know straight up. "a truly pathetic effort" followed by "they were imposters" = in my mind an attack on our players.

blaming allbuffers for stealing your hoodie is one thing. jumping off the cliff in your disappointment is another.

bottom line, whether or not you liked it, those kids are working their ass off for the buffs, which is more than you are doing for them.

It was a truly pathetic scene when the fans abandoned ship after halftime. Colorado has some fair weather fans. Yesterday proved that. And save the "i paid money for my seats" bull****. Pathetic.

according to some, we should pay THEM to sit in the seat, and never question their allegiance.

yeah, that is frikkin likely!

Huh? I didn't accuse anyone of stealing my hoodie! I just figured someone found it and put it in their car! Sheesh! The whole "hoodie" thing was meant as a joke. As far as using the word "imposters", I meant that only to make the point that we weren't the same team that I saw last week. Not anything bad about the players. Gimme a break LB. I'm sorry if I came across like a butt head. If you knew me, you would know thats not what I meant.

everyone comes across like a butt head now and again, so no worries.

if you did not mean it as an attack, call it good. so long as we can agree those kids are busting ass

I understand that people want more out of our Buffs. I am the same way. Cody had a horrible game. But that's going to happen with a RS-Fr at qb. Enough of the "he's too small" or "He's not the anwser at QB". That's BS. The Offensive line got dominated. Maiva had a bad day out there. Miller was okay but i saw him give up a sack or two. Polumbus and Harrison are struggled as well. Just a bad day all around for the oline. And when your oline struggles your rushing game will also.

So you are calling me a butthead? I love the kids. I do think that the coaches did not come up with their best coaching job. But that happens. I'd bet the coaching staff agrees, BTW. I think they are kicking themselves. I also bet they put the players through a very tough week this week.

well, YOU called yourself a butthead. i merely agreed.

and i would guess that you are right about this being a very rigorous week for the buffs.

You are probably right about the O line. Just look at the Broncos. Same thing. As for Cody, he has to step it up. He seems to me to kind of lock in on receivers. Although, last night, as you said, the O line didn't do him any favors. He was under pressure quite a bit.
