Kid can play. Excited about this one. And really glad to see the Buffs recruiting Oklahoma.

I get trying to stick with recruiting grounds developed by assistants in previous lives, but with the musical chairs that can be the assistant coaching pool, is focusing on assistants' recruiting grounds a good strategy? Would it not be better for us to keep our recruiting areas focused, regardless of the assistants? I want to say it was you and Duff that won me over to this argument of having truly focused areas, developing relationships and a presence, in some threads years ago. While OK has some football talent, I wonder if spending resources there is a good idea. Since CU is still re-establishing a national, football presence, I like the idea of staying close with our recruiting areas.

I've always believed that OK should be a recruiting area for CU. It's a border state (barely, but still is one). Besides, a lot of OK prospects are at the camps & events in TX that our coaches attend.

What I'd had a problem with was having 3 recruiters in Florida. While it fit with the backgrounds of those coaches, it was too much. I'm ok with a little bit outside the footprint based on who was hired, just not to such an extent like that was because going that far compromises your work within the footprint.

And, fwiw, I am very high on Antwine and the other OK offers that came out yesterday.

He can be flipped, but it will be a drawn out recruitment.

He would be a difference maker type of recruit. Hope we can get him.

The fact that he is looking and making visits pretty much says that he isn't sold on Ol Miss,

Getting him in for the BBQ was big.

Gonna be a tough pull, but we do have a shot here. Antwine is the type of player we need to take the front three to the next level.
