I thought I had heard they OSU had never beaten an SEC team? Or maybe that was only referring to bowl games. Must be, based the on the results you posted above.

LSU by at least 2 TD's in this game.

I think it is a bowl game. They did have a couple of wins in the 30s but I did not put them on the list.

....or VaTech over KU or UGA over Hawaii?
If Glenn Dorsey is 100%, LSU wins easy - when he's at his best they have to at least double team him. That allows blitzing on just about every play. Ohio State is big but slow. Too much speed, LSU easy.

wow. for such an abysmal record vs the sec in post season play, they sure run their mouths a whole lot. they must write off the sec before opening the smack talker.

i would not say that osu matches up well with lsu based on a couple games from the late 80s. the win was a three point win, which connotes nothing to write home about.

Didn't we learn our lesson about this last year? Ask the Dirt Burglars how that worked out last year. This Hawaii team is actually pretty decent and I think they will give UGA a game.

UGA is known to lay an egg. It would not hurt my feelings if UH put 50+ on them.

LSU was better than UF last year. Their record was not.

They had 4 1st round draft picks in 2007.

UH is decent, but UGA won't make the same mistake OU made last year. UGA by 14+. UH looked very average vs. UW. UW is not good.

Agreed. Hawaii is decent, but they're not as good as last year's Boise team. Also, this year's Georgia team is better than last year's Oklahoma team. And it will be basically a home game for Georgia.

UGA rolls (unfortunately).

Yeah, I forgot the crowd aspect of it, too. There were a lot of BSU fans in Tempe last year. I wouldn't expect a huge UH contingency, although maybe they'll travel for this game, I dunno.

a large contingent?

you read the wrong report. EVERY LAST RESIDENT OF IDAHO was at that game! :smile2: they are a fun lot, too.

:yeahthat:

Hawaii has just had too many last minute and OT wins over subpar teams, which is why they're still only 10th in the rankings despite the fact that they're the only unbeaten out there.

I will take Ill/LSU total points over USC/OSU. Zook recruits speed. He will beat OSU and UM within 2-3 years.

He will, I agree. But this team has NEVER seen defensive speed like SC has. You just can't match it in the little 11. This one is gonna get real, real ugly.

Agreed. Your gonna see dawgs running all over the field for the whole 60. The only way they win this is with turnovers and ball control (running).
