We were lucky and it was ugly (but I'll take it). Ya'll are gonna be a killer when you get your new recruits in and this young team gets more time under their belts.

Go gag on a maggot! Nah, thanks. I thought we were very tight early, both the players and coaches. Wish we had another quarter.

All these misdirection and reverse plays are getting old. Let's have move straight-ahead running and downfield throws.

Overall I was very pleased with the way we played after the rough start.

Those plays are way too slow to develop. I cannot believe the coaches don't pick up on that.

Lol. DBT. YOu sound just like the announcers.. lol. But yea. That's definitally true about the end arounds. Lol. And we Were NOT Tight EARLY on. I figure you know that though. You know what though.. I really am starting to miss old school smash mouth teams... I really miss seeing Chris Brown Running Right Over People. You know what though.. I am So Dam Proud of This Team. OHHHH Did any one notice if the announcers EVER mentioned that Dizon was the runner up for the Butkis? I don't think i heard them ever say anything!

thanks.

this game will not hurt our recruiting efforts at all.

this team is on the rise...watch out next year baby...

This is going to be an unpopular comment but here goes, I'm happy that Hugh Charles is graduating. I know Hugh's a great buff and I love all my buffs but I have never liked his running style. He seems like he has never gotten over his fear of contact. I'm very ready for a new RB to emerge and hopefully it will be one who runs north/south and over LBs instead of constantly bouncing it outside and over juking moves like he's playing tag instead of running through defenders. I want someone who runs angry. I want someone who is mean and will spit in a LB's face as he runs over the top of him. I want someone with Hugh's strength and speed but swaggers the way Lawrence Vickers did. Maybe Gates is this guy, I hope so, but I think our O will change a lot when we have a RB that runs with ferocity.

We need to run with a FB more... the only time we ever moved the ball on the ground. Even though he had 2 picks... Baby Hawk was very good firing the pigskin.

Thanks ColoradoTide.... Good luck next year:thumbsup:

Very proud of our Buffs. Odd, but the way this team has fought in some of the losses has made me more proud than the wins.

That Bama team took the soon-to-be national champion down to the wire with LSU winning on a fumble by JPW at his own 4 with just a couple of minutes left.

I saw a lot of good in the 2nd half of the game. Good thing you guys scored early and often. We seem to have a pretty nice class coming together. I think were gonna be pretty good next ear or two. You guys have a good a coach and a good defense. Obviously have some needs on offense.

Thanks for the good game.

1st down killed us all game long. Even in the 2nd half.

We constantly were in 2nd and long or 3rd and long. We were able to convert a lot of those and gets points after the horrible start, but it does make it hard on yourself when you don't get good yardage on 1st down.

Alabama speed to outside was hurting us, and except on few occasion they were doing a really good job of stopping HC from getting to the outside. I would have like to have seen them run more up the gut. It looked like they were trying to pull the opposite gaurd alot to lead the way for Hugh, but it just took to long to develop.

No complaints though after looking back at this season. This is a team that took a big step forward this year. They key now is to keep that going and get off to a quick start next year and get on a roll.

Nailed it Chilly. Way too many 2nd/3rd and longs. Can't consistently lose yardage on first down like we did.

Agreed...and his comments to the press also leave a lot to be desired.

Ignoring Hugh for the moment, Hawk and Helfrich need to open it up a bit. My complaint with last night was the conservative play calling. Let Cody throw the ball down the field!
