Official ****braska Hate Thread

I love the supposed Fusker fans who can’t even spell the name of their previous coach correctly.

I also love all of the backtracking in Fuskerland. They are a lot less sure of the state of their cult with the Akron game cancelled. When even the trolls aren’t willing to make a projection, you know that Fuskerland is concerned. They will return to meltdown mode once Landman knocks Martinez out of the game.

Last year NU had a DC trying to install a 3-4 defense with a roster of 4-3 recruits, it failed horribly. This DC seems to be playing to the strengths of who he has. Corners are young but the newest kids are going to be the starters, you are correct about the QB, NU fans have not seen the freshman QB other than in spring. He came in early and has been battling for the starting spot. He's very mature with how he carries himself. Allegedly a special athlete. Frost passed on a legacy kid, the Burrow kid who I believe started for LSU last night to ensure Martinez would stay. I think there may have been a deal made, hope the kid is ready. RB has all kinds of depth. WR has a depth chart but according to the position coach that is a formality, all WRs will play and they have a bunch. The Lines have the most holdovers from Reily and the most unanswered questions on toughness, we will see, word of tons of improvement in off season with a new strength staff that is highly thought of. Just don't know how fast they can change the culture but it will change. CU is catching them at the right time for sure. I see NU opens as a 4 pt favorite somehow. CU looked awfully good. I have no idea how they set a line on this game. Looks like rain could play a factor again. See You there.m

They probably opened it at four thinking that would be reasonable, and there's likely been a ton coming in on NU from Nebraska fans after y'all got blue-balled by mother nature last weekend. Last I saw its at 5. I don't think there's anybody on this board who doesn't think Scott Frost isn't the right guy for NU. You're gonna take your lumps this year, though. Having us be your opener is a very bad break for you IMO-we're gonna come in feeling really, really good about ourselves........even with as bad as CSU is.

Meh!
Don't be such a toplofty bastard.

LOL ... "toplofty"? Is than an actual word in English ... or just a quaint Husker-esque colloquialism?

You might need to look up the bolded word on your handy-dandy Bob Devaney Memorial Smartphone. But be careful ... you might actually learn something. And from what I hear, that kind of thing doesn't play well in Cornbraska.
