That’s the thing though, there’s nothing organic about this. It’s all contrived by Frost.

We beat them at home this year and he knows that next year he has to come to Boulder. What better way to give his guys a little extra juice the 2019 game than to manufacture some hate. Plus, the added bonus is no one is talking about how the golden boy is currently 0-1 and lost to a rival.
 
Not gonna lie, as disgusting as their fans have been on twitter (and in fairness, some of them have been very classy), some have made me LOL. Someone tweeted at Callier that he was going to kick his ass next time he was in Lincoln (like Callier is planning on visiting for spring break!), so I clicked his profile and he was some 160lb white guy with a weird face. Many are talking about how Callier should be tried for assault, but one guy went over the top with a 4 tweet thread essay that ended with, “I’m not saying he should be thrown in jail but I wouldn’t mind seeing an assault charge. Time for everyone to crack down on this.”

Some lady tweeted a boo hoo gif at @allbuffs and when I clicked her profile, the tweet below it was her complaining about how her ex doesn’t pay child support and won’t give her $40 for pizza money for her and her kids - the boo hoo gif right above it with perfect placement!
 
Seriously? Frost is the biggest crybaby I have seen in a while. Martinez got hurt, I am truly sorry that happened, he is a good player, but it was not dirty.

Your coming out party was ruined and it was funny watching you sulk your way off the field with your head down. Your body language showed you knew your team got beat. Live with it.

Now Bad Thad stomping Joe Dailey's dingleberries? That was dirty....but time heals all wounds, I think.
 
I mean, if this is how NU wants to play it, then we can just package up every questionable hit and play and send them off to the conference officials every week. He released the second the whistle blew.

I’m saying organically without being forced by stating, “we’re going to be rivals because we need to be rivals” like people have been forcing on CU/Utah. This game played out the way it did and the losing team is acting poorly, making excuses, not giving the winners credit and accusing of dirty play. That’s how rivalries get made organically.
 
they are trash; they have always been trash; they will always be trash. fusker football is the thing that unites them and allows them to find a small corner of their collapsing world where they can be enthusiastic. if they weren't so mean-spirited and fake, i'd feel more pity for the way life has treated them.

This whole situation only makes me more baffled how Jordan Lasley got away with a blatant blideside hit on Laguda after the whistle - which left him feeling like he was in a car wreck for weeks. Did we send that for review? Did the Pac-12's internal review process go over that? It was far worse than anything alleged here.

CU and Utah could get there-we get five or six games like the one we had two years ago (had they not lost to dog**** Oregon the week before and it was for a division title it would have been better)......Still hard to not respect the hell out of what Whittingham has done there
 
wow... ...I can't believe this is a story. If ANYTHING...nebraska fans should be mad at their guy for hitting JMac up high when there was absolutely no reason to. Get mad at not holding on to the ball, including the one that should have been (early whistle). I just can't believe this is a story. Annoys the **** out of me, and makes me sort of mad - DAMN IT FEELS GOOD TO HATE nebraska! Hope all these quotes are saved and plastered all over the locker room over the summer and going into the game next year. seriously, I missed hating an opponent...UCLA was getting close, but **** nebraska.......

Of course you don't, because there isn't anything to see. The game angle on the broadcast was more from behind the play (or at least the replay was) and it was clear as day that his left knee buckled on the cut, hence the falling down before anyone actually tackled him. I'm fine letting this nonsense fester for a year, and then laughing them out of Folsom with a destructive loss. I'll be hoping and praying all year that HCMM gets the boys even bigger and tougher in the trenches so Buffs not only win, but crush them at their own (alleged) power game.

Also, super rich complaints coming from a fan base who supported the likes of Suh, the Peter Brothers and the consummate NFL bully Icognitio. Just a lovely group of shortsighted folks.

Don't forget the running back that dragged his girlfriend (?) down a flight of stairs by her hair. And ole' Nurse Tom hiding a gun used in a crime from the police.

For the self-proclaimed "classiest fans in college football", isn't Frost's behavior, excuses, and whining a further embarrassment to the Fusker team, fan base, and kNU?? I'm surprised the kNU AD hasn't quashed this already. Tommy is only adding insult to injury... Literally.

Who could forget the murder, Lawrence Phillips? Still on the team after multiple DV incidents (and charged at least once by police) because the TomFather knew that Lawrence "needed" football. No, jackass, what he needed, and what his victims in society needed, was for him to experience the cold justice of accountability that most folks learn in middle school and high school.

A fun aside, that same year TomFather kicked the 3rd string walk on center off the team after a bar fight, in the name of discipline and accountability of course. A kid who was over 21 and engaged in mutual combat with another drunk patron.

And while I continue to type faster, and my blood boils even more, we should add Traitor Lewis to the list of N punks. Not only a traitor but in his one crappy N season he filled up a highlight reel of punk plays on his own (to say nothing of his assault rap). The big N and the Faiders, only two sport teams that I have ever legitimately hated.

Let them all believe what they want to believe... turn this narritive into our favor. I a team wants to get on the field with the Buffs... expect pain... hard aggressive play and if you get dinged, that is the price of business.

The morale is to phyical as 3 is to 1... break their will before you need to break their bones.

Okay... some of that is tongue in cheek, but you see where I'm going.

Callier had to switch his twitter account to "private" after getting hate mail from those "classy and friendly" Nebraska fans. Way to go, Huskers! Frosty sure is one whiny ass petty bitch for being such a successful career coach. This series is now a rivalry amongst the present players. SPOILER ALERT!---No disciplinary action will be taken against Callier.
