hey guys, don't know if this is posted anywhere else, but according to the DC, Sipilli (sp.?) is back at school and all that good stuff...

I mentioned it in the Gates/Katoa enrollment thread, but it's certainly worthy of it's own thread.

I get so wrapped up in the NEW recruits I forget about the guys coming back from other parts of the roster. Thanks for the update.

Be nice to see Sip and Katoa in the middle with Major coming off the end

Let us not forget Marcus Burton. Our LB's should be nothing short of awesome next year and for a few years to come. Losing Dizon sucks, but we should have four guys who can blow up a play compared to one.

It's weird. Going into the fall, LB was incredibly thin. Now we're 2 deep across the board with some sick talent. Amazing.

And Mohler as well. I would expect him to come in and contribute right away.

NU fans seem to be hinting that Mohler and Rippy are going to be heading back to Lincoln.

Sorry, no solid sources for ya, just NU rumors.

I've seen these same dip sticks claim knu will be 11-1 next year. Never believe a fusker. Ever.

They could be right since we still have plenty of time until LOI day. I didn't mean to count the Buffs before they sign. As sacky points out, the Buffs are in good shape at LB with or without him (but I'd still like to see him in black and gold).

Even if kNU get 2 of these three back I am still impressed with hawk A.) for keeping major and Miller instate and B.) for getting another big-time CO recruit in Givens to change his pledge to CU, its a good step towards closing the borders.

Now if we can just lock up the Utah, NM, Wyo, Idaho talents we'll have a solid home area to recruit from.

Dammit, I'm not letting this thread turn into a CU/knu flame war.

Welcome Mike Sipili back to the Buffs!!!!

That's right we've been able to attract 3 Wyoming guys since 1950. The real question is can you name them?

Nice thread, eh? Sipili back with da Buffs. It shows me alot about that young man. Basically punished 3 times for the same thing - suspended from games, sentenced in court, and then suspended for the semester - yet he didn't begrudge CU. He chose to return.

Here's to you, Iron Mike. Gonna be nice seeing you roam the Folsom tundra again.
