Official Buffs vs. ASU Game Thread --- 2 PM on P12N

Honestly, you didn't need to read the thread at all... apparently you knew what it was going to say. Next time, perhaps you should take the opportunity to share your wisdom with ALL of the retarded fans in real time.
I did last week, and I got **** on in real time, lol.

Don't look now, but ASU fans are crying foul at Lewis's hit on Harry! "He was hiding out of bounds. It was the dirtiest play of the year. Pac-12 should review the play. He wasn't on the line of scrimmage at the start of the play. Blah, blah, blah". They're worse than Nebraska fans.

The funny thing was, when you watch the play again, Lewis literally looks to just come running off the bench to deck him.

Everyone in the game thread: Take Wigley off Harry now!

Coaches at end of the 1st quarter: Sounds good
FWIW, our defense generally puts a corner on one side of the field and keeps him there rather than matching up a certain corner on a certain WR. I know that's how it's been in the past, and several teams employ that strategy unless they think they need to put one guy on a certain guy.

I like the fact that hometown paper actually is biased toward the hometown team. Call me jealous.

Harry moved to the other side of the field for his last big gain against Wigley.

And that's questionable at best. ASU picked on him all game, even after he stopped covering Harry.
So what do we say about the guys that cover Shenault? There seems to be a disconnect that you guys forget CB's are going to get beat often by top tier WR's. Is every guy who has covered Shenault this year garbage, or do CB's get beat by good players?

Wigley got beat on the long TD as well. He was not covering Harry on that play.

Abrams actually made a play today at corner today (a big one at that), Wigley did not.

There are few if any lock down corners in CFB.

The coaches saw Wigley’s play. And replaced him. He wanted no part of Harry. Actually asked Abrams to flip a time or too.

Not a good corner. At all.

Hmm... why don't you go back and read the thread and look at all the garbage takes. Which is almost every thing that was posted.
Why don’t you keep talking about Montez and how every player on the team should be a leader. Keep hitting us with non-garbage takes like that

It almost seemed like ASU was trying one-up Shenault by using Harry as a running back, wildcat, punt returner, etc. All it did was get him hurt. 3 catches for 62 yards, no scores. Goes down like a sack of wet cement on the first hard hit he takes. Lacks toughness. Pity.

To be fair, just about no one has really made a play at corner this year. Funny thing is, our pass defense is pretty decently rated despite the hate the secondary gets. We haven't faced a top flight passer yet either, however.

Gotta be honest, it's nice to be on the right side of play-calling for once. The way we used Laviska/McMillian compared to their use of Harry/Benjamin in the second half won us that game.

It is always nice to see an opposing OC intentionally take it out of their best players' hands. They ride Benjamin all first half and ignore him most of the second? Nice!

See I can't take you seriously when you're pushing for Edwards to get benched in the first half.

Yeah, they're hilarious. If that was an illegal hit then what was that head-shot on KD Nixon that was overturned despite being worse than Landman's? Or when #20 head-shot our OL and then got a personal foul on the same play?

Anyways the Pac-12 reviewed it and he was blocked out of bounds, got tangled up, and came back in and made the legal hit.
I disagree that the hit on Nixon was worse than Landman's. However, both hits were superficial at best and the contact to the head wasn't violent on either.

He got owned on 1H. Look at participation chart and sibstitutions.

Played better in 2H as Lewis played run in gap.

Get a grip on yourself.
