Well, we suck again. Fire Mac.

If 2-2 over the last 4 wouldn’t be enough to save his job, I don’t see a reason to keep him to the end of the season now.

Call me crazy, and I know this has been debated ad nauseum in the past, but I don't want to beat Cal and get some ****ty bowl game by the skin of our horrible season-ass teeth.

Any bowl a Pac12 goes to is going to be OK. Might not be great but at least it keeps some of the recruits around. If they don't go to a bowl after a 5-0 start I think they lose a large chunk of the guys they recruited.

If I were a donor who invested in the new facilities, I would be all over Rick to make a change....what a complete disaster. We need to make a change. HCMM is all about excuses.

BTW, for those of you who email Rick, do you think his responses are from him, or from his staff?

Even in '16, we started great but weren't very good after the ASU game, and really sucked the last 2 games. Last year we sucked all year. This year we were very good for 5 games, but leaned entirely on 1 player to the point that we broke him. Then we regressed to the mean, and that's pretty mean.

Thanks for everything, mac, now please go away.

Read this. He is afraid. Literally coaching from fear.

MacIntyre on not going for it on 4th down at WSU 36: "I think we were 3-of-20 on third down or something crazy. If we get sacked, the ball is at the 50. I thought we could pin them at the 10 and get the ball back and have another chance. They made a good drive... turning point."
I wouldn’t put too much weight on what a coach says in a presser.

Totally agree. Punting is the easy decision, otherwise you have to scheme something up and they are petrified of the other teams Coach outmaneuvering them.

Why would we fire a guy for playing field position and ultra vanilla on offense? If we hadn’t coached that way we might have lost by more points. #losebylesshopefully
We've tried out almost every way to lose. No one knows the ins and outs of losing like we do.

Yea...done it, and he responds. But pretty canned.....

After the OSU game......

Thanks for sending your thoughts below. Saturday was certainly disappointing and unacceptable for CU Football. I share in your disappointment and frustration as does Mike, his staff and our student-athletes. However, we still have a third of our football season left and we have a lot to play for. We have a big opportunity on Friday night in Tuscon and I expect that we will be prepared and ready to compete. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and your support of the Buffs.
Respectfully,
Rick

Yep.

Sadly, even though it was a lightweight call and totally soft... he's probably also correct that our OL has no hope of protecting when the other team knows we have to throw so a sack is much more likely than a conversion. That's what we are now. Thanks, Adams.
