i am really loving the new coaching hire photoshop image of "new coach in team gear he's never worn before".....as a mainstay of the Carousel spinning 'round.
it's like a whole genre unto itself, now.
it's like i don't even have to close my eyes.....and it's all Real. there's Mike Jinks in Trojan gear.....awesome.

I tend to agree with Nik on this one. Time will tell, but I believe Snyder was a generational coach and I expect KSU to suffer a significant falloff.

Well, I think Klieman being nine years younger than Bohl makes him a more ideal candidate for a school who basically had to force Snyder to retire.
You could be right. Time will tell. I look at the B12 and see UT, OU, WVU and OSU along with a very solid TCU and ISU. Baylor doesn’t like losing and won’t put up with it for long. That leaves TT, KU and KSU fighting for the best of the worst. I think KSU is going to regress regardless of who coaches there.

You cannot overstate how much it mattered that the KSU AD hired Klieman at NDSU. That familiarity with the program gives him insights an outsider just does not have.

Louisville hired former Colorado DB coach ShaDon Brown to serve as safeties coach.
Brown spent the last two seasons on staff at Colorado, but was not retained by new HC Mel Tucker. Not out a job for long, though. Prior to his time with the Buffaloes, he held positions with Army (2016) and Wofford (2011-15).

Temple's been running a very good operation for a while now. They used to be a total joke in football but they've been good for a lot of years despite a lot of coach turnover.
Are they making a play for the ACC or something? You being the conference expansion guru, I figured you would know.
I don't think they have what it takes to be more than a good G5 program in football along with a bit more potential than that in basketball. They're like a St. John's or DePaul in that private city university lane, but with a D1 football team. They are about twice the size of Boston College, though, so I guess you never know.
Tough to get people to start caring and show up at the games. It's almost a self-fulfilling prophesy that students don't go to Temple games. It's a NFL city too.
