I love the talk, but I get a little scared thinking about pass protection with two true freshmen RBs.

That's a bold statement considering neither one of them has ever taken a snap in college. Personally, I'd look to USC, aTm, or Georgia for that honor but I guess we'll see.

He just got back from the lunch and was fired up. I do agree with you thou, we'll see

Scott very well may be good enough to start right away, but I wouldn't expect to see the returning RBs to just fade away.

There's a reason that Ellis will be missed next year, and it has everything to do with pass protection.

true, but remember we did have two freshman starting on our O-line towards the end of the year. RB is a lot easier transition

Picking up a blitz is the hardest part of a running back's job. First they gotta accurately read it, then get to the gap in time and then throw a solid block. Doing all that at college speed vs. high school speed is a HUGE learning curve.

I agree, but Scott is a freak. He is ready just like Adrian Peterson was ready to start for Oklahoma his freshman year.

Scott will almost assuradly start. Players of that caliber do not ride the pine their freshman years.

Thinks Scott and Polk will both start next year and will be the best 1-2 punch in the country.

Polk certainly has the size and speed to be on of the better running backs in the Big 12. I think it was his high school coach that said he had only played RB for 2 years and he's a bit raw. It says something about his ability that ASU made a late push for him.

I would completely agree with you on that. I watched some of his video yesterday with my chin in my lap.

Frankly, I think that deserves some praise, not ridicule. Also, has anyone suggested that you have a huge future awaiting you on xtube?
