Season Tickets

I am going from student tickets to general tickets due to my graduation in May and am wanting advice for what to do. I plan on being a ticket holder for many years to come and want to start out right so I can get great seats in the future.

As of now, you can't pick your seats as they are waiting for renewals. You can go ahead and put down a deposit though.

Anyone know when the renewal deadline is?

The renewal deadline March 10, 2008. But there is about a month after that of UNOFFICIAL Grace Period - I have a friend who always renews late.

They do not finish with the upgrades until about July.

Allbuffs hasn't received it's renewal packet yet. I called about a month ago to tell them of the address change. grrrrrrr.

Anyway - I'd go ahead and just buy some cheap seats. There's no annual donation required and they're not terribly expensive. $265 or thereabouts for a set.

Speaking of the AllBuffs set, when are you going to start collecting for that? I'd like to contribute this year, even though I'll likely not make any games.

I have another question about season tickets.

I will be a grad student at CU-Denver in the Fall. I don't qualify for student season tickets, do I?

No. What happened to UT Law?

Law school plans got put on hold. I got a nice gig in the land use planning department for Boulder County and I'm getting 85% of my Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning paid for, so I figured it was time for a move back. I like Colorado more.

I had CU-Denver student tickets. Back in 2002 or so they were something like 90 bucks and you got an actual ticket as opposed to having it on your student ID.

If I remember correctly, Grad students got the option of assigned tickets and undergrads got general admission student tickets.

Cool, sounds like the rules have changed. Last time I looked into it (I admit that it's been awhile), since the CU-Denver students didn't pay the same fees, they weren't eligible.

i just got my renewal package in the mail yesterday...as indicated earlier in this thread the early deadline is 3/10/08 for renewals, but i believe they give you until 4/1/08 if you are paying by credit card.

are we going to try to upgrade the allbuffs tix this year sacky? i suppose that depends on the level of donations from this group...

Yeah, I think you can get student ticket BB. My buddies wife got tickets while she was in Dental School down in Denver. This was 5 years ago or so.

I had not received my package but just went to cubuffs.com and renewed online. Paid with a credit card that will be billed 4/1/08. Pretty easy process that took about 5 minutes.

He'll do fine as long as he commits this phrase to memory:

"we feel like this parcel fits in very well with our overall plan. It will provide a buffer that we feel is beneficial".

Total thread jack here, but this issue came up in Longmont recently. Boulder County is looking to purchase some land that is WITHIN THE LONGMONT MASTER PLAN for development. They spouted these exact same words at the council meeting. If it weren't so pathetic, it would be funny. :sad1:
