Top 40 non-conference games

Illinois at Missouri #2? Good matchup, but #2?

Cincinnati at OU #17? Lotta love for Cincy.

Fresno State at KSU #40? <Bill Snyder> Where are the 1-AA teams? </Bill Snyder>

Who made this list? And aren't all of Notre Dames games OOC? Why are game that they play on an annual basis considered special? They play USC and Michigan every year. Same could be said for a number of the other rivalry games that are played every year.

geh illini. missery #2 is a joke, but i cant wait for USC-Ohio st

Wow. I'm not sure who I hate more in that matchup. It was bad enough when tOSU and ND squared off a few years ago. Thank god one of these two will be out of (sort of) the national title picture early.

On a side note I hate the fact that they post these things in February. Gets me all geared up for some CFB and then I realize it's still 6 months away!:bang: Gotta love espn classic and espn U replaying games in the offseason.

Good thing there isn't a bias towards the SEC otherwise 8 out of the top ten games would have an SEC team playing in them! Oh wait, they do...
:bs:

Fresno State at UCLA. Newweasel's opener. Would it be too much for me to wish for FSU to win by say 35 in that one? I guess while we are wishing for things, how about that day the NCAA announces that it has opened an investigation into recruiting violations by UCLA and Newweasel that occurred soon after Newweasel's hiring.

The hate for Neu seems kind of strange to me. At the time of his hire I was at CU in the media. He was a fast rising star who'd made a stud of Troy Aikman and then Kordell. The feeling was to not let him get away.

Neu never lived up to the legend that he replaced. He made a lot of mistakes. If anything, we should thank Barbara Hedges for saving us from the inevitable. I can understand UW having hate for him but not us. His first trip back to Husky stadium should be fun.

I think I've gotten over my dislike of Neuhisel. I don't like what he did to CU and UW for that matter. But I've moved on. I hope he's learned his lesson and will conduct himself in an ethical manner. One thing's for sure, we're going to be going up against him for a lot of recruits in the next several years. We're going to lose some of those battles, too.

My wife is a UW alum. That, combined with the fact that his actions prior to leaving left CU in hot water, makes dislike him. How he just seemed to "not know" the most basic of NCAA rules, which even the most neanderthal of college coaches seem to know, is beyond me.
