One of my favorite descriptions of both Tuioti-Mariner and Bryce Givens is that they play with a mean streak. The future of our O-Line looks so bright I wanna start playing with the lineups :smile2:

I'm not really sre whether Erik Faatagi is heakthy enough to start, but for some reason he seems a better pick than Sione Tau, so I'll throw him in for now:

2008 - Ryan Miller -- Kai Maiava, Dan Sanders, Blake Behrens -- Erick Faatagi

2009 - Ryan Miller -- Tuioti-Mariner, Kai Maiava, Blake Behrens -- Bryce Givens​


No Sione Tau, Shawn Daniels, Ethan Adkins, Mike Iltis or Ryan Dannewitz - I chose Behrens for my little lists here because he's the meanest. In fact, other than Sanders and Miller, all opf these guys have been described as playing with a mean streak.

The point is, we are really bottlenecked with talent in these two classes. Miller and Maiava have two spots locked up for the next three years, and Tuioti-Mariner and Givens are both major beasts.

LT- Ryan Miller makes the move to protect Cody's blindside
LG-Kai Maiava as long as he doesn't move to full back
C- Daniel Sanders
RG- Mike Iltis. He was the closest to burning his redshirt last year
RT-Sione Tau

This would be a very very young line tho...
 
I'm wondering with all of the depth at OL comin in and already on campus, along with Givens size, athleticism, and struggle gaining weight... if they might experiment with Givens at DE???

They figured out what was wrong with Givens. Too much stress involved with the recruiting process, all tests came out negative. He should be packing on the pounds, he's gunna be a beast.
 
how about miller and solder at the tackles in 08. sanders, tau, and behrens inside?
