***OFFICIAL 2019 CU FOOTBALL FALL CAMP THREAD***

I attended some of Thomas’ high school games. I’m not sure why CU recruited him in the first place. He was never going to get any PT at WR, looks like he can offer value as a scout team CB.

He was a stud his Junior year, but seemed to regress (or maybe his competition caught up?) his Senior year

Love the position switch and hope it works out....also, I believe the change in depth at WR could play into a guy like Mims reconsidering the Buffs.
Unfortunately, there is a 0.0001% chance of this happening. Probably less. Mims is not worried about WR 9 on the roster.

Yeah, his film was really good from his JR year and then completely disappeared his SR year. Good athlete, so its a shot.

Viska, KD, Brown, Arias, Stanley, Jackson, Bell, Vontae... Huffman-Dixon is the only guy I think will RS this year

That's legitimately 8 deep
For fun, compare that to our 2012 WR roster heading into 2012, keep in mind Richardson would miss that season.

Spring Roster: Dustin Ebner (Sr.); Paul Richardson (Jr.); Jarrod Darden (Jr.); DaVaughn Thornton (Jr.); Tommy Papillion (Jr.); Alex Turbow (Jr.); Keenan Canty (So.); Tyler McCulloch (So.); Gabe Castillo (So.); Nelson Spruce (R-Fr.)

That was one of the worst assembled WR core I've ever seen

I feel like this is a part of a pun sting operation

A lot of stiff tall guys in that group.

Sounds a bit like camp is going to take a step down in intensity after the scrimmage. Should ease some folks fear of the team being overworked heading into the RMS. No doubt that HCMT will always demand physicality and focus, but it seems like the team is about to transition to game week style preparations.

Tomorrow's scrimmage is going to separate things. Have to determine who is going to the scout team with the opener just 2 weeks away. Will also set the starters, for the most part.

I imagine you're right and that they will start gameplanning for CSU next week.
