Other games, week of 9/6-9/7

I think LSU wins big.
Top to bottom LSU has the athletes. Question has always been are they more than just athletes and how is the QB play? Burrow is ok, but OK is a major step up from the last decade.
Boise's giving 12, and Marshall's going across the country-the more I think about it, the more I like Boise to cruise.
I like Marshall to cover. Mostly due to the fact that my nephew's uncle played corner for them when Moss/Pennington were there, and my oldest nephew met Chad and Byron.

The Jazz Hands on the Marshall TD was cold-blooded.

Poor bastards that bet the farm on BSU...

Thought about it, but took a first quarter over of 14 that didn't hit. Oh well. That vaunted Potato State offense that went nuts LW in Tallahassee didn't do a damn thing tonight.

Good lord, Rice should just shut down the program, there is about 200 people in attendance.

Troy Taylor going for it on 4th and 1 on his own 32 is something.. Seemed to get the first down the previous play too. If Sac State had any dudes, they might have been able to compete in this.

Were people a little too quick to flip flop on Herm Edwards? Maybe he really was not that good of a hire after all.

3-0 Fork U at half......come on Sac State lol

3 trips inside the 10 (2 of them thanks to non-offensive plays) and just 6 points to show for it, lol.

Edit: Make it 4 and 9 points from them.

Another Fork U field goal! 12-0. Dear lord what the hell is Sparty going to do to them next week?

Man, what a terrible look for the MWC it would have been if BSU would have lost to Marshall.

ASU struggling against Sacramento State would also be a bad look for the Pac-12, but let's face it - we've had so many 'bad look' losses by this conference the past couple of years, at least they won.

Bachmeier may end up being one of our bigger recent recruiting whiffs.

I didn’t catch the game, was he really that impressive tonight? His stat line looked solid, but not drool-worthy. Obviously though, the stats don’t always tell the whole story.

He made some plays. I briefly looked in but my first thought was that teams rbs looked average

He looked great against FSU. Their whole team looked flat tonight.

I think Ehlinger is the real deal and it's too early to say this new Saints-influenced offense is going to be a huge success at LSU, so I'm picking Texas to win tonight.

Clemson wins by 10 or less.

USC over Stanford in the battle of the backup QB's. Even though Stanford clearly has the better coach USC's talent wins out.

LSU by double digits
Clemson by 20
Stanford wins

One of us is going to be very right.
