I think we all agree Mac pulled us out of our nose dive and got us flying sort of level. We’ve now seen 4 games with Mel.

What do you guys see as the big differences between the two coaches and their staffs?

One of them brought in coaches that have experience at the p5 level, the other brought in his incompetent friends and refused to fire them. Also one would either literally cry or throw a temper tantrum at least once per game while the other keeps a steely eyed focus on the game until the end

Your first statement is partially true.

Your second statement is more apt.

So far the biggest difference is the no panic calm attitude that HCMT brings which the team seems to have adopted.

I also see the S&C program paying off so far in all 4 games. They seem to have outlasted the other teams and began to show some dominance late in the games when the other teams seem to wear down more, enough to pull away or climb back into the game.

One is cool and the other was a goober

yep

IMO, the biggest difference is attitude. It’s expressed in:

1) players now are tougher and are unwilling to quit.
2) MT as a head coach takes adversity, chews it up, and spits it out. macintyre rode the rollercoaster of emotion in the face of adversity.
3) MT doesn’t see himself as a victim. He has a clear vision for future events and wills them into fruition. macintyre hoped for positive outcomes and blamed others for failings that were his responsibility.
