Other Games 11/12 - 11/16

They definitely don't have the offensive firepower to hang with LSU's offense but Georgia's defense should match up well against the LSU offense. And as @patebuff said Kirby needs to open up that offense. He has a couple of good backs in Swift and Herrien and they were very efficient in the 2nd half against ND. And if Kirby doesn't get gun-shy on 4th down with a 10-point lead they could have won that game going away.

Regarding UGA's lackluster games against mediocre opponents, yes the USC loss was a bad loss but they have the good wins to make up for that. You mentioned the first half against UT, but Georgia led by 12 at halftime and won that game by 29. The Kentucky game was played in terrible weather but as you saw today this team plays tough, low-scoring games for the most part. And they still beat Kentucky by 21.

UGA's defense is damn good, and its better than anything LSU has seen this year. That being said, LSU has seen three top 30 defenses (Auburn, LSU, and Florida) and they've scored an average of 37 a game in those games. If Smart thinks he can go win a physical, low scoring game in the SEC Championship game, he's got another thing coming.

I can't believe what I am watching in the OU-Baylor game. I've been watching Baylor box scores, shaking my head at their undefeated record against ****ty teams and relishing this game so they can get their asses kicked. Umm, they might actually be good.

The rest of their schedule is so bad that they probably have to run the table to make the playoff though. That's going to mean beating Oklahoma twice.

Baylor smacking Oklahoma.

LSU looks unstoppable.
Stupid that it took the Alabama game for most to figure out LSU was the best team. They have been doing this every single week.

Think USC throws stupid money at Oregeron to see if he bites.

Auburn, Bama, and Florida, and they also have a good A&M defense on the horizon. But yea, the SECCG will be fun with the UGA defense against LSU's offense. Don't discount the fact that that game is in Atlanta and UGA will have a substantial crowd advantage with the LSU fans likely holding out for the CFB semfinal game which will be played in the same stadium. And also the National Championship game is in New Orleans.

Bohn won't need the food cart-Orgeron isn't going anywhere. That's a step backward for him after this year.

Thanks for the correction-I meant Alabama. UGA's going to have the crowd advantage, but there will be a sizable group of Tiger fans at the SEC championship game. They're a devoted bunch.

LSU AD can't compare to USC's AD. They are in different hemisphere's regarding money. Does Oregeron care that USC slighted him a few years ago? That's what matters here. Dude would kill it at USC. Clear path to a playoff ever year.

He's got one at LSU, too. Orgeron's also a Louisiana native, and he's said numerous times the LSU HC job is his dream job. He's not leaving.

You've got one at LSU too-beat Alabama. He's not going anywhere, and Mike Bohn is going to **** up that search after they fire Helton.
You have to play Alabama, Auburn, and TX A&M every year. Those conference teams are tens times anything you will ever see in the Pac 12 South, year in and year out. LSU is a mess financially.
