11/30 Colorado at Utah

Not the point I was trying to make. The point is we faced those odds against Nebraska for a long time and still have them a ball game. We give Utah hell, we might end up with a good recruiting class. We win, better recruiting class and more practices for the young kids.

A win like this makes way more difference for 2021 and 2022 than this year.

ABC primetime...lets get it!

This is apparently correct. My TV schedule has us playing the Yoots at 5:30pm MST on ABC. Hope we don't lay an egg like we did in the CCG and bowl game in 2016.

Which would be key seasons for Tucker. 2021 OOC: Northern Colorado, Texas A&M, and Minnesota all at home. 2022 OOC: @Air Force, @Minnesota, and TCU. I believe Washington State gets rotated out for Oregon State after next season. Stanford flips with California.

Even with the odds stacked against us, the win against Washington got the family excited enough to get last minute plane tickets to go the Utah game. Win or lose, really pumped about the way the team has improved the last couple weeks and it will be cool to watch Viska's last game as a Buff live.

Does colder than a well digger’s ass help us any? Maybe when Viska catches the ball and hits the defensive back the defensive back will shatter into a thousand pieces. However, I do not trust Montez in bad weather.

The two coldest weather teams in the league playing in cold game with no predicted precip is probably a wash in terms of advantage, I'd think?

they are the most physical team in the conference, with the nastiest defense. we are aspiring to be that mean. advantage them in cold. but, if it is wet, the ball can bounce funny. we could catch a break.

My confidence in this team thriving at a cold night game in SLC is minimal. Montez has never played well in weather. But it does look like it will be done snowing by then.

**** this ****, we are going to win! I just watched the movie Miracle and I know that Montez can be Eruzione and Landman can be Jim Craig. HCMT is pulling the Herb Brooks and this team wins with a field goal mid 4th Quarter and holds on to win and get to a bowl game.

Book it now. Buffs win a shocker!

I'll be there with 5 others. Around the start of the season I convinced my wife it would be a good idea to go out to Utah to see some of her friends and go to the game. The Washington game gave me that glimmer of hope that we have a small chance.

If we win I won't be ****ting on the field but I may pick up another wife or two to celebrate. I told my wife she'd still be #1. When in Utah...

This is not going to be pretty. Will probably be our worst loss of the year. Good chance our long streak of not allowing 50+ points in a game comes to an end in this one.
If we played them earlier in the year I would agree, but we've been playing so physically the last 2 games I give us at least a punchers chance.

I actually agree. Not that I think they have a serious chance, but I think Tucker has the team playing with a lot of confidence and zero quit. Bowl game and biggest upset since 2007 on the line. Defense, particularly the front 7, is playing pretty well right now. Really hoping we get a great effort from that side of the ball and the offense just has a 62-36 kind of game.

Thanks for making my point. This is why I don’t like you jinxing us with this early victory declaration.

Hmm, okay. I technically made your point, yes, but I was more adding that even if they sign there’s still no guarantees so we can either enjoy this or be worried they’ll leave at any point in the next 4 years.

The thing that gives me just a slight bit of confidence is that Utah's offense starts and ends with Moss being on a roll. We held Washington to 32 yards running and if we can do that to Washington, we can do alright against Utah. Still worried about their d-line giving ours all sorts of fits but hey if we dirty this thing up and make it low scoring, there's a shot.

I don't think weather's going to be much of a factor-no moisture is supposed to fall during the game. Two, we won a game four days ago in the same type of cold. Steven played well enough to win, too. Yeah, Utah's a different animal than Washington or Stanford were, but I expect we're going to do what we've done the last two weeks.

*In Boulder

If we keep it within two TDs, I will be pretty surprised.

I agree, it’s the logical thought process here. I’m mildly optimistic merely because I could see this team losing by a lot, a little or shocking us all. I guess it’s nice to have some optimism for the 12th game of a season.

Just never really feel that confident when you have a must-win game on the road. I would actually feel pretty decent if the game were in Boulder.
