'20 LA RB Ashaad Clayton (SIGNED to COLORADO)

IMO should this come to be we'll have a situation we haven't seen since 01. My concern is Mangham transferring because CU isn't UGA and the P12 isn't the SEC. Thanks for the trivia I automatically thought which 3 backs.
Let me make sure I understand what you are saying. You are concerned Mangham may transfer because CU isn't the UGA and the P12 isn't the SEC when he had offers out of high school from:
  • Alabama
  • Arkansas
  • Florida
  • Mississippi State
  • Ole Miss
  • Texas A&M
Please. Tell me more. This should be great.

I was going to make this argument this morning but I realized I didn’t care enough to type it out lol. Thanks for doing that for me.

Pretty simple, Mangham was never going to redshirt @ CU he may have seen the field had he enrolled at Arkansas, where as he probably would've at the others listed. After watching the season so far his carries per game may or may not be enough for him to justify staying then add an incoming 4* that's not going to RS or play ST. My reference to the SEC / P12 has more to do with the SEC's more conventional offenses vs the P12 more open offenses. Hope that explains my thought pattern well enough I can go into further detail if need be when I have the time...let me know

"The four-star running is not signing until February so the job is still not done to make sure he signs on the dotted line. Clayton has an official visit to Kansas next month, where former Warren Easton head football coach Tony Hull is currently the running backs coach at Kansas. I’m sure Hull & Les Miles will try to do everything in their power to flip Clayton before signing day." :cautious:

getting this commitment might be the worst thing that's ever happened to CU

“Well, what has Kansas done?” - Mel Tucker, possibly...

Checked his twitter and the header is blank. Not sure if it's always been like that of if he just changed it.

just changed... as well as his twitter photo
Nothing changed on his Twitter recently. He had a Colorado picture up for a little bit after his commitment, but took it down in the past couple of weeks. He apparently is friends with Pooka Williams Jr a RB for KU also from LA.

I don’t think they overlapped, but the rb coach of KU was head coach of his high school before.

Four straight losses, 61-6, and Kansas, he should consider those that when making his decision.
