Is this a slam at CU?

I couldn't tell so I wanted to get everybodies opinion. I was driving through Loveland today and saw a car with a huskers license plate frame. They had a sticker on the window that said: Folsom state prison.

Do you think it was directed at CU? I wanted to ask the person and was tempted to at the light.

Folsom State Prison is a very large prison in CA near Sacramento. Maybe the sticker is a play on that to poke fun at CU but, if it is, it seems very obscure at best.

I have seen all kinds of dickhead Nebraska fans in this area it just makes me wonder. I know about Folsom prison.
I have seen people with Calvins with a Nebraska logo pissing on ralphie, and I have seen upside down ralphies on two different windows with Nebraska logo's.

A lot of Nebraska fans that move to Colorado are dicks (not all save for C-sker and CSUfusker), while most husker fans I meet in Nebraska are nice and respectful.

Doubtful. Folsom Prison is famous cause Johnny Cash wrote a song about it and recorded a excellent live album there.

I hear the train a comin'
It's comin round the bend
I ain't seen the sunshine
since I don't know when...

You know if you were to listen to my iPod, it would be entirely possible to hear Johnny Cash, followed by Vanilla Ice. What a combo!

your ipod ought to just spontaneously combust in a fiery explosion form the shame of that.

you are giving that population way to much credit... this is the same group that brought you 'the best fans in college football' with absolutely no proof...

folsom prison, by j cash rocked...

Yeah, but then you'd get a blast of Beastie Boys, followed by some old school Steve Miller Band, and then the CU fight song. Then some AC/DC followed by Madonna and Glen Miller.

If you're lucky, and the iPod is in the mood, you might even hear some ABBA. That's always a treat.

Your iPod and my iPod should get together and go bowling...except if your iPod played Vanilla Ice in front of my iPod, my iPod would kick your iPod's sissy ass

The drummer for ABBA just died. :sad1:

I have more MC Hammer than Vanilla Ice. Just "Ice, Ice Baby" from the vanilla man on my iPod. Still, what a sweet ass tune. I also have MARRS - Pump up the volume. Oh yeah, I'm McLovin.

And if your iPod has any counting crows, my iPod will launch it into the sun.

My iPod is a crap-free zone, which means no counting crows...also no Hammer.

Stuff from the greatest hits albumn. "Take the money and run" "Fly like an Eagle", "Swingtown", "Dance, dance, dance"... that kind of stuff.

Lots and lots of Police, U2, Led Zeppelin and Beatles, too. When I'm out jogging in the morning, I could get anything. I even have some Beethoven, Mozart and Wagner on there.

Oh, and Weird Al. It's always fun to have some deep song by U2 like "Sunday Bloody Sunday" followed up by "Amish Paridise" or "Eat it".

And while it hasn't happened yet, I'm waiting to hear Michael Jackson's "Beat it" followed immediately by Weird Al's "Eat it".

Yes, I have the king of pop on my iPod. The king, too - bunches of Elvis.

You saw me driving?:smile2:

Would actually be pretty cool if our stadium was such an advantage that it earned a moniker like Folsom Prison.

Sounds like you stole my iPod... I think my favorite moment listening to mine was driving down the road and having it go from "A lapdance is so much better when the stripper is crying" to something by Glen Miller to some Godsmack...

It is always a good time when the ABBA kicks in, though...

Nooooooooooo! Not ABBA. They drive me nuts. My Counting Crows. Fingernails on chalkboard bad. Dogs barking bad. Grinding gears in a Ferrari bad. Good riddance drummer.

My iPod happy place is Dire Staits Sultan of Swing followed by The Pogues masterpiece album Rum, Sodomy and the Lash. Then pile on some Gypsy Kings, and top it off with Funkadelic's Maggot Brain.
