K-State going back to their old ways.

Wonder who they have in mind as a replacement?
NAIA DIV III Sissy State University 3-79 over the last eight years

I really don't want to play them again. They will just murder us, again. I'd rather play a pud team considering we travel to Louisville for the following game.

Look at our schedule, this is why you guys will always be known as the purple pussies

That schedule is bat**** insane. Looks like our 2011 schedule when we host Oregon and then travel to Miami (FL). Who knows who will be coach by then.

Fresno State is one of those teams that you don't gain a whole lot by playing, win or lose. If we are going to play a tough team, i'd rather it be a BCS team.

FWIW, Snyder schedule Fresno State for a 2 for 1 deal.

Like CSU.

Its really just the timing that makes you look bad. (That and the fact they were going for the sweep this year if I remember correctly) :smile2:

They've already swept us, technically. They beat us in 2004 and 2007.

As much as I enjoy busting on the kitties, playing Fresno is no picnic. I remember those academic non-qualifiers coming to Boulder and beating the Buffs. Arguably, they cost CU a shot at the NC in '01.

or ochs could have just run the ****ing ball in!!!!! :bang:

 still one of the most maddening losses i can think of.

I was thinking about some smart remark, but I can't given the Buffs '06 performance vs. the 'Cats.

True.

Montana State must be getting some nice cash flow into their AD though. Third straight year they play a Big 12 team.

That INT cost the buffs a trip to the national title game:sad1:

National Title game against one of the best college teams ever...we got killed by Oregon...I don't wanna know what would have happened against Miami.

Hopefully Montana St. can beat K. State so we aren't the only one to get embarrassed.

I agree, Miami would have killed us that year and Oregon should have been playing Miami. Although I do think we didn't play Oregon as good as we would have because I think most of the team was pissed they weren't in the title game and Nebraska was. I bet we would have played Miami closer than Nebraska did. Regardless, that Fresno INT still cost us a trip to the national title game.

He's got to produce while he still has Freeman. KU and MU are his rivals, and the fans want to stop losing to them. They just don't like each other.

OK, so his his MO is not beating NU, but that still doesn't answer the question.

As 77Buff points out, MU and KU are a bigger deal because they are rivals. Beating UT twice is nice, but it really doesn't give you a whole lot of leeway. If the second best thing on your resume is that you have beaten a CU program at its lowest level in a decade, you will have major job security issues.

I won't dispute the the folks in Manhattan would prefer beating MU and KU over CU/OU/UT/NU, but that still doesn't address the original question. Would Prince really be in trouble next year if he loses to MU and KU but beats OU, CU and NU?

I think he'd probably be fine, but that's just me. Again, I have a hard time figuring out Ron Prince. Psycho genius, or simply psycho?
