this fall will be alot of fun-

I bet Scott ends up throwing a TD to J-Fly sometime in the next 3 ys :thumbsup:

hey j fly.....it's called a weight room....familiarize yourself with it....please....:huh::smile:

Ya, but you don't have a highly scientific environment available to use. If nothing else, the guy should be at least look ripped, if not huge after a year at school. Speed alone is not enough to be a great receiver.

Not in all cases. It's not like Hawk expects him to be a slot receiver going over the middle or anything.

I have a real problem with people questioning J-Fly's work ethic. This kid spent over a week in the hospital, and came back 3 weeks later to play. he is poised to be one of the top receivers in the rotation. If he weren't putting in the effort, you would only see him on scout team.

who is questioning his work ethic.....?:wow::cool:

Josh Smith could look like Manute Bol for all I care as long as he's productive on the field.

true...but a little more muscle mass could help give him more opportunity to be productive on the field by preventing injuries...

although i'm not sure adding muscle will help the 'dropsies'...:wow:

I read your first post as suggesting that he was being a slacker by not working out.

If I read it wrong, sorry - chalk it up to "misinterprehension".

it was bascially tongue in cheek....saying it would be beneficial if he could beef up just a bit.....i'm sure he works his butt off...but is just one of those that has trouble gaining weight...that is all

I think if ahybody we should be concerned about putting weight on is Bryce Givens. I hear he is having some big problems packing on the pounds in that great OT frame.

Yeah, that dude looks pretty skinny. He's probably not eating/lifting right though. I would imagine Pitt can get it done.

That was true before Feb. 7, 2008. He said the stress of recruiting had messed with his ability to put on the lbs.

I'll bet he comes in this fall at ~270, and will keep putting it on over the course of his redshirt year.

Once they sign the LOI, Pitt can send recruits a workout plan. Reports from Rivals says he and Major have been working out together.
