College Football October 17th

Second that. Georgia-Alabama's far and away the only "I've gotta sit and watch that game" today.
I miss doing the other games thread each week but there just isn't enough to work with to make it interesting.

Hope to have it back next season (meaning that we are back to a fairly normal season with everyone playing)

Not the best day to watch some football. Watching Clemson-GT but that should have been Pitt-Miami on ABC. So I flipped over to FOX (not subscribing to cable until CU football is on) and boy the Big 12 is just so garbage with KU up over WVU on the road 10-7.

Clemson up 45-7 with several minutes before halftime. Lesson to that young GT QB...don't turn the ball against Clemson...you will pay the price! Etienne (the RB who wears 9) has managed to win ACC Offensive POY despite sharing the same backfield as Lawrence.

Was related to trivia question asking which P5 players have done that three years in a row. Just two players: Herschel Walker and Donovan McNabb. Pretty impressive if Etienne wins that for the third year in a row.

Season is starting to feel more normal the longer it goes on. Looking forward to getting the Big 10/MWC back next week and obviously our start in three weeks.

How in the hell is Nick Saban cleared to coach tonight?

The South is a different world.

He had three negative tests from an SEC approved lab. Just following league protocol. Nothing to see here.

Five actually. He was tested twice on Wednesday and Thursday and the 2nd test on both days came back negative.

Duff's other team got the kind of call against them I would expect from PAC refs.

3rd and 5+ time running down with S. Carolina trying to hold on. Ref calls a ticky-tack PI. Yes there was contact but it was minimal, the ball wasn't that close, and it probably was more OPI than on the D.

This is not a vintage Auburn team but that was a bad call.

And former sheep QB James Hill is leading S.Carolina much more effectively than he ever did at CSU.

Yea that was a tough call.

You meant Collin Hill but more so Bo Nix has been pretty bad today
