The last big week with a full slate of games. Who wins their divisions? Who gets to go bowling and where? Which coaches win enough to keep their jobs?

And of course the big question, can Scott Frost leave the bargirls alone long enough to add a Moral Victory National Championship to his self declared national championship from when he coached a team that actually understood that the team with the most points on the board at the end of the game is the winner.

Games start on Tuesday with a couple MAC games. If Ball State (5-6) can beat visiting Buffalo (4-7) they qualify for a bowl, hopefully someplace warmer than Indiana which means almost anywhere.

Western Michigan (6-5) is already qualified but a win on the road would prevent Northern Illinois (8-3) from winning their division outright.

Two games on Thursday, Thanksgiving day.

The big one is a cross state rivalry with Ole Miss (9) at Mississipi State (7-4.)

Friday many fans will be filling up on leftover turkey and enjoying a full menu of games including some huge rivalry battles.
San Diego State (21) tries to protect their ranking hosting Boise State (7-4) who started the season slowly and has come on of late.

Cincinnati (4) gets another chance to make a statement to the playoff committee at East Carolina (7-4)

North Carolina bragging rights are on the line as North Carolina (6-5) visits North Carolina State (20)

Saturday has a couple of huge games.

Ohio State (2) at Michigan (5) is one of the years biggest games even when it doesn’t have national championship potential on the line. This year both teams are trying to put themselves into the playoff so it should be one that is remembered for years.

With other top 23 match ups Oklahoma (10) goes to Oklahoma State (7) in a game for bragging rights in a state without much else to brag about and an outside shot at the playoff.

Usually Georgia (1) at Georgia Tech (3-8) is tough game, this year the Yellow Jackets are just trying to not be embarrassed.

Speaking of embarrassed MIchigan State (12) is hosting Pedo State (7-4) with two schools that redefined embarrassing behavior.

Penn State fell apart this season after a 5-0 start. Michigan State was flying high before choking on Purdue. They then gave a coach who has never won a post season game more money that they paid the individual victims of Nasty Dr. Nasser so he could go out and get beaten by Ohio State worse than they beat MAC schools to pad their schedules.

Can they do it? Can Nebraska (3-8) manage to master the art of close losses by losing nine games in a year by one score or less? Of course they can, losing is in their blood.

This year in pursuit of that Moral Victory history they finish their season at Iowa (16) a program that has beaten them by big margins and small.

PAC 12 rivalry games are highlighted by Oregon (11) hosting Oregon State (7-4). Can Oregon come back from the beating at the hands of Utah to hold off a solid Oregon State team.

Washington State (6-5) is at Washington (4-7), two teams with fired head coaches playing for the Apple Cup.

USC (4-6) and Stanford (3-8) are both likely to add to the PACs troubles this year by losing OOC games to BYU (13) and Notre Dame (6) respectively.

Locally Air Force (8-3) should be able to play all the seniors hosting UNLV (2-9)

Wyoming (6-5) welcomes Hawaii (5-7) into the barren waste on Laramie. For the Rainbow Warriors is that a road trip for a football game or a trip to another dimension. Fortunately for them the weather looks to be as nice as it ever is in late November there at 49 and sunny.

CSU (3-8) is visited by Nevada (7-4.) At least since most of the sheep fans have already given up on them there won’t be many there to witness the beating that officially ends their season.

UNC is already done but we knew that before the season started.

Local small colleges now come down to Mines hosting Bemiji this weekend after Western lost a close one to Nebraska Kearney last weekend.

MSU vs PSU trophy should be named the "Sports Agents Cup" after the contracts Tucker & Franklin got renegotiated.

I think so. Bama tends to struggle a bit at Jordan Hare and I think Harsin can sell the team on a win "saving" the season.
Was temped to include this game in the preview but a tough one to describe.

Auburn has not looked like the top end program we are used to seeing but they aren't devoid of talent.

This thing could be anything from a major blowout for Bama to one of those games that the underdog comes out and surprises the overconfident favorite and pulls out the upset.

As frustrating as this season has been this game means a lot to the Auburn kids who are from that part of the country, which is a lot of them.

I am also interested to see how Clemson-South Carolina goes. The Gamecocks want a win badly.

Also, Florida State could pull off a nice little turnaround to bowl eligibility if they beat Florida.

In a lot of the country these rivalry games mean a lot to the fans but in these games so many of the players have known each other since they were in high school.

Florida is in the process of falling apart and FSU getting bowl eligible would give hope to the ACC because historically they along with Clemson are the conferences biggest name.

That Clemson - SC game is also a big one for the ACC as well.

Yeah, the ACC/SEC crossover games are usually pretty good (Kentucky/Louisville being another).

Georgia-Georgia Tech are also playing but this game won't be close and Bobby Dodd Stadium will be looking like Athens West.

They need to run Tank and Hunter more especially with Nix out. Alot of frustration among Auburn fans that they got away from Tank in the 2nd quarter against South Carolina after he ran all over the Gamecocks in the 1st. They'll also need some 2nd half offense - only 12 2nd half points over the last 4 games

Bobo going away from Tank is baffling.

I mentioned that one in the post, not because I think it will be a game worth watching as much as following what the top few programs are doing week to week.

I've seen GT this year and don't hold many illusions they are a threat to the Bulldogs this year.

In a titanic struggle of the Horrendous, Florida International visits Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. So. Miss has taken to alternating RBs and WRs at QB the past 2 weeks and it’s been working. Their best player is Frank Gore, Jr. Enjoy….

Talk to CSU fans and they find many things about Bobo baffling.

Win or lose this season won't be close to the standard that Auburn fans have come to expect. What do you think will be the response in the off-season? Major changes, minor changes?

This wouldn't be initiated by Auburn but there were rumors of UW being interested in Harsin and that he would also be interested in going back out West. However I believe that speculation has died off.

Mother ****er

@MtnBuff - Changes are almost a given. Only nine second half points over the last four games.

I think Bobo is a good to great QB coach (Nix has actually looked brilliant at times in 2021), but as an OC, he really struggles with game flow.

Bobo was OC at Georgia, right? If so, what were his offenses like then?

GT will give their best effort of the year. This is a game they get up for even when Georgia isn't getting all the national attention and there is nothing they would like more than ruining UGAs year.

All that emotion may keep the game close for a while but eventually the talent difference will tell. Georgia has so many NFL type athletes, so many playmakers on both sides of the ball. It will only be a matter of time until that talent breaks the game open.

This game hasn't been remotely close the past 3 meetings and GT wasn't close to being competitive in South Bend last week. GT won't even have home field advantange. This one will be a blowout from the start

I didn't include a garbage game of the week but this one would have been in contention.

It wouldn't have been the final selection though since UMass is at New Mexico State in a pillow fight between teams that ate 1-10, and not that good.

UMass got their win against UConn which really shouldn't even count as a win while NM State "beat" South Carolina State which is a mediocre FCS school by a score closer than it should ever be.
