cfn is a bunch of CU haters, they have us ranked at 54 overall behind Northwestern and North Carolina. They're convinced we're a year away, and even if thats true were better than 54.

if our D finishes the year statistically #43 in in the NCAA, i'll wager we win 7-8 games at least. last year we finished #64 in total D:

http://statistics.ncaafootball.com/...otball&page=cfoot/stat/ncaa-team-totaldef.htm

btw, picked total O #53 (I'll bet it's better) and was #71 last year.

i realize these picks mean nothing but if we improve by nearly 20 spots in both total O and total D stat-wise....i think we win 8-9 games. more confident about the O, however.

CSU did beat us in 1 category...RB...Would anyone really rather have Kyle Bell & Gatrell Johnson over our crew????

CFN is pretty awful. If you go back and read their season previews it's clear that they don't have much knowledge of any team outside the top 10. Lots of errors and completely inaccurate info.

I stopped reading that site a few years ago because of the half-assed "journalism".

Bell was a good running back before Sonny ruined him by running him 40 times on a rehabbed knee.

What's Gartrell Johnson ever done but try and revive the belly shirt?

I think CU fans dramatically underrate CSU's RB, but that is just me. They really do have a pretty nice stable of backs.

They're not bad, but I still wouldn't take them over what we have.
BTW, Bell isn't the same as he was before his injury. I also don't think CSU wont be able to run much against our front 7

Bell is still there? He and Sperry will be applying for their AARP cards anytime now.

Didn't Ryan Miller track down Jonathan Gaye on what should've been a sure TD? I think it was in the state championship game. Talk about embarrassing.

Yeah, i was there...it was good to see from a Buff perspective, and bad to see as a Mullen Alumn
